19.01.2022 So the WA Queens Prize Meet 2020 is done and dusted, and we are all very thankful to the WARA committee and staff for being able to arrange this in such a short time, due to COVID-19. Some other states were not as fortunate as WA. Congratulations to all the winners. Shooters came from as far as Albany and Carnarvon, and everywhere in between. It was a great turnout given the circumstances, and although the squadding and early close of nominations was a talking point, at th...e end of the day everything worked out fine. Again, many thanks to the WARA committee and staff for this fantastic event. Some more photos to come, off the digital camera. 17.01.2022 We started the last day of the Queens with a bit of rain early this morning. The start was slightly delayed but we’re up and running now. There’s a bit of breeze and the clouds are building a little. Hopefully Mother Nature will be kind and this is as bad as it gets. Good luck to all shooters, hopefully you all finish strong!

10.01.2022 Near perfect conditions at Pinjar this morning. Just a breath of wind, clouds slowly building, the sun starting to heat up. There are technical issues with internet, so scores uploaded to NRAA will be intermittent.

05.01.2022 Due to COVID-19 restrictions earlier in the year, we missed several of our early shooting days. To make up the missed ranges, our calendar has been amended to slot these extra ranges in. They are as follows: 1. next week’s shoot is to be shot on Saturday 5th Sept, not Sunday and is a two shot match. Firstly the scheduled 700 PLUS a 400 match ie 2 x 10 shot matches, You will need 48 rounds. 2. Oct 3rd Match is a 2 shot match, the scheduled 700 plus a 600 match. Remember th...e 700 match is a 2 x 15 shot match, the 600 2 x 10 shot apps, you will need 34 + 24 = 58 rounds. 3. October 10th Match is a 2 shot match 600 and a 700 Match. You will need 48 rounds. 4. October 17th Match is a 2 shot match 300 and a 400 match. You will need 48 rounds. 5. Also no shooting at CV on 19th Sept due to Northampton Prize Meeting. The extra matches from earlier in the year will mean that each range is shot 4 times for the year and this gives all people a good chance of qualifying for the yearly trophies, ie, shoot each range twice.
