25.01.2022 Due to the revised forecast for tomorrow (Monday 30th Dec) for the temperature to reach above 40deg, last tickets for Upick will be sold at midday. Upick will close at 1pm. The last bus from the Upick area will be at 12.45pm. If you are planning to visit Chappies to pick your own sweet cherries, sour cherries (Morello variety) or raspberries, please plan your visit for early in the day. We will not have any ripe blackberries for Upick.... Our shop will remain open for sales of freshly picked fruit, subject to availability. THE LAST DAY FOR SWEET CHERRY UPICK WILL BE NEW YEAR'S EVE (Tuesday 31st December 2019). Last Upick tickets will be sold at 2pm, Upick and shop will close at 3pm. We will be closed New Year's Day. Thursday 2nd January we will re-open for sour cherry (morello variety which is mostly used for cooking) and berry (raspberries and blackberries) Upick (subject to crop availability for berries). From Thurs 2nd January we open at 8.30am. Entry is $12 per adult, $6 primary school kids, free entry for pre-schoolers, PLUS $12 for fruit picked to take home.

22.01.2022 Cherry news! Our Chappies farmgate shop will be open from Saturday 7 November, and every day (except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day) from 9am until 5pm until the end of the cherry and berry season! We will have shop sales of our early season cherries this weekend, freshly picked from our farm. We’ll also have our freshly picked raspberries (until sold out), lemons and of course Chappies locally made jam. We recommend you give us a call to check availability o...f the raspberries before you visit, save any disappointment. Call us on 9737 9534. U-pick berries (raspberries, blackberries and krimsonberries) will be open within the next week or so, and of course we’ll keep our Facebook page updated. There will be no need to book your tickets online. This year we’re excited to introduce Click & Collect, so you will be able to order your cherries and berries online, and collect your order from our farmgate shop at 21 Parker Road, Silvan. Your order will be picked and packed fresh for you please visit our website for all the details. In the coming weeks as the weather warms up and more cherries and berries ripen, we will commence Click & Collect. Sadly, COVID19 restrictions mean we are unable to offer U-pick cherries this season. Whilst this is VERY disappointing and it's been an extremely tough decision, be assured we will have our picking team picking the best of our delicious cherries fresh for you to buy from our shop or order online for you to collect. Thankfully COVID19 will not affect the supreme quality and taste of our delicious cherries grown right here in Silvan! We look forward to seeing you this season and thank you for your support.

22.01.2022 Chappies raspberries are loving this week’s warm sunshine and are making their presence known! Raspberry U-pick will commence tomorrow, Tuesday 10 November and we’re open every day from 9am 5pm. Last U-pick tickets are sold at 4pm. With more warmer days ahead we’re anticipating blackberries to be ready for U-pick by the end of this week. We will also have freshly picked raspberries for sale in our shop, until the day’s stock is sold. Visit us at 21 Parker Road, Silvan you’ll see our Chappies sign!

We will continue to have sales of freshly picked fruit in our shop, while stocks last. Our shop will close at 5pm. The last day for sweet cherry Upick will be New Year's Eve (31st December 2019). 12.01.2022 It's been a busy start to the weekend's U-pick berries today and wonderful to be able to welcome everyone back. Unfortunately our berries have already been picked out, sorry! Berry U-pick is now closed until Monday, when more fruit will be ripe and ready for picking again. Our farmgate shop is open for sales of freshly picked cherries and raspberries until sold out. As the warmer days roll in, more berries will ripen in abundance!

11.01.2022 Sweet cherry Upick season is now closed at Chappies until next sweet cherry season (November 2020). We will have shop sales of freshly picked cherries until sold out. SOUR CHERRIES ARE DELICIOUS AND RIPE FOR UPICK now, and for at least the week ahead. Sour cherries (Morello variety) are very different to sweet cherries and are mostly used for cooking. They are smaller and more bitter than sweet cherries and are great for making jams, preserves, pastries, cakes, rice di...shes etc. Sour cherries are not un-ripe sweet cherries. Our raspberries and blackberries are ripe for Upick too! Sometimes berries are picked out early in the day, so Upick will be subject to availability. We're open every day from 8.30am until 5pm (last Upick tickets are sold at 4pm). Entry is $12 per person ($6 for primary school kids and free entry for pre-schoolers), plus $12 per kg of fruit you pick.

09.01.2022 Chappies U-pick will close for this season on Friday 10th January. Last U-pick tickets will be sold at 4pm. This is the last chance to pick your own sour cherries (Morello variety) to make your favourite jams, desserts, rice dishes, liqueurs etc. We will also have raspberries and blackberries available for U-pick until Friday (ripe blackberries will be subject to availability, as they are often picked out early in the day). We no longer have sweet cherries available for ...U-pick. Our shop will remain open from 8.30am until 5pm Sunday 12th January for sales of freshly picked cherries and berries, jams, honey and frozen berries - only until stocks last, so plan your visit before it's too late.
