25.01.2022 We had some great training this week in a program called CHAT which helps build meaningful connections between people from different cultures. Looking forward to doing this program with our LDHS students next year. Our thanks to Tim Fawssett from SU for facilitating the training and also Zahed for the wonderful hospitality you gave us when we came through your store and the local mosque.

23.01.2022 It’s great being able to help in our community with some very needed food hampers going to our local high school. Chappy Arlee and Doug doing a fantastic job. Thanks to Woolworths and Food Bank for their wonderful support that make amazing things happen here in the valley.

22.01.2022 LDHS Yr12 Formal is on November 20. If you know of any students who need a helping hand in organising a formal outfit at no cost please let us know.

20.01.2022 We have been so blessed to be able to reach out to our LDHS families who have needed a bit of an extra hand through this really difficult time.This has been made possible by the amazing support of the ADRA Lockyer Food Pantry and its wonderful volunteers which have donated countless food hampers to our school.

07.01.2022 Recently we've had representatives from the three major belief systems in the Lockyer Region speak to our Year 9s with parental permission. Below is a photo with Dr Gil Burgh and Dr Simone Thornton. They both lecture at UQ in philosophy and taught our students about Secular Humanism. We were also privileged to have Imam Mohammed Azhari speak to our students about Islam and Dan Paterson from Questioning Christianity explain the Christian faith.... There was a great time of Q&A afterward each session. We would like to give a massive thank you to each of our speakers! We'd also encourage everyone to Google the above speakers and follow their interesting work.

05.01.2022 Well the 2020 school year has officially ended. What a year it has been! Thank you everyone for your support, encouragement and partnership. It has been a blessing to meet so many new people and to work alongside old friends as well. May you all have a blessed Christmas and we'll see you in the New Year!
