25.01.2022 Well Autumn is already here and it won't be long before temperatures start to drop. LDHS has a very real need for warm school clothes to help our more vulnerable students during the cold season. Any and all warm uniform donations are appreciated and can be given to our wonderful ladies at the school admin office.

15.01.2022 Its great being able to help in our community with some very needed food hampers going to our local high school. Chappy Arlee and Doug doing a fantastic job. Thanks to Woolworths and Food Bank for their wonderful support that make amazing things happen here in the valley.

14.01.2022 We had some great training this week in a program called CHAT which helps build meaningful connections between people from different cultures. Looking forward to doing this program with our LDHS students next year. Our thanks to Tim Fawssett from SU for facilitating the training and also Zahed for the wonderful hospitality you gave us when we came through your store and the local mosque.

05.01.2022 Our community faces challenging times during the COVID-19. In the coming weeks, each and every one of us will be looking to our family and neighbours for support. In our lives, we all feel vulnerable at some stages and if you feel that the Lockyer District High School Chaplains can help please feel free to ring Chappy Doug on 0482535120 or Chappy Arlee on 0405659575. We will be available from 8am-4pm Mondays to Fridays in Term 2. The Chaplaincy service will be working closel...y with other community organisations/members during this time. We are very keen to help if: - You would like a friendly chat. - You would like groceries picked up/delivered to your home. - You need urgent supplies from local Churches/charities due to financial difficulties. - You would like some mail posted. - You have other needs. The challenge we face will not last forever. In the meantime, lets all play our part and work through this together. -Doug Espie and Arlee Groves LDHS Chaplains.

04.01.2022 We have been so blessed to be able to reach out to our LDHS families who have needed a bit of an extra hand through this really difficult time.This has been made possible by the amazing support of the ADRA Lockyer Food Pantry and its wonderful volunteers which have donated countless food hampers to our school.
