20.01.2022 Last spring we traveled inland to York to visit one of our favourite places, Laurelville Manor to shoot Tuan & Thy's prewedding. We were thrilled to discover the wisteria was out in full force & the grounds lush with greenery. It was such a pleasure capturing the two love birds who had all the tell tale signs of a couple who were destined to be together. Thy's bright & bubbly personality was the perfect match for Tuan's quiet strong demeanor. Thank you to the wonderful Chap...ter One team for always bringing their A game! 19.01.2022 When we first met Stewart & Michelle they had a very clear vision of the kind of shoot they would like to have for their prewedding. Over the course of their relationship they would often go on road trips together & wanted us to recreate that feeling of freedom & adventure.... we were up for the challenge. We set the scene in Pickering Brook & found quiet roads where we could shoot them as they drove in their mini copper which was hired for the day. We stopped at a the Ros...e Heritage Cafe in Carmel to have lunch, share stories & laughts & shot around the premise. We ended the day in a gorgeous apple orchard which had some of the most amazing trees that bloomed white & pink flowers, almost similar to cherry blossoms. Thank you Stewart & Michelle for trusting us with your prewedding & overall being such an awesome, sweet couple to be around. 19.01.2022 We're so excited to be sharing the pre wedding shoot of Donald & Vanessa today. One of their favourite things to do on the weekends is explore the streets of Fremantle. They love eating at cafes, shopping at the local markets, with a stop over to the beach & so we did just that for their shoot however took it to another level. We also found ourselves at the abandoned power station in South Freo which at first glance looked incredibly scary but we discovered some hidden gems i...nside with the help of some local boys who acted like our tour guides. As the sun was setting we made our way to the quiet beach infront of the power station & spent our final moments together just capturing the couple's love for one another. They hardly needed any direction at that point as it was all so natural, so real & a privilegde for us to witness. We all left with goosebumps & not because of the wind <3 Thank you for such an amazing day Donald & Vanessa! We feel so privileged to have worked with such wonderful couples who have always trusted us with our vision, as well as the amazing WA vendors who have been on this journey with us. We could not do what we do without their generosity, expertise & talent! 16.01.2022 :: Tuan & Thy ::

12.01.2022 ** This shoot is a special one as both Jason & I know Ed & Jo personally. I use to work with Ed in a cafe during our Uni days & Jason use to go to high school with Jo. Within 5 minutes of being in the presence of this lovely couple you can’t help but have the biggest smile on your face. Not only can you feel how deeply in love they are, you can also tell they’re the best of friends as well, which we wanted to capture for their prewedding shoot. The day was filled with laught...er & creative magic from our amazing team. Anna (our inhouse florist) created an exquisite carpet of green lush foliage & the prettiest pink flowers that complimented the generous space & furnishings, otherwise known as the warehouse of our vendor friend Pretty Willow. After spending some time shooting indoors we took the couple to the Swan Valley & played in the tall grass & vineyards. Ed took a moment to serenade Jo with love songs while we stood back & watched them sneak in kisses while giggling to inside jokes. We ended the shoot on the top of the hills at Bell Rapids with a beautiful sunset as our background & the couple staring lovingly into each other’s eyes til we gently reminded them that we were there too hehe <3 Thank you Ed & Jo for a wonderful day! 03.01.2022 :: Sneak peek :: Yesterday we had so much fun setting up & styling a romantic picnic by the water for this gorgeous couple! It's in collaboration with the new prewedding packages Jason Tey Photography will be offering in the near future. Our team consists of the lovely Anna of Botanica Naturalis, Yuko from Alice Blue Hair & Make Up, as well as Elsa & Chloe from Meeting Grace. Can not wait to reveal more <3

03.01.2022 From the hustle & bustle of one of Perth’s trendiest bars in the city center to the tranquil surroundings of St Joseph’s church in Subiaco & finishing the day in Swan Valley’s beautiful fields, Aaron & Cat’s shoot was close to perfect. Such a carefree & friendly couple who completely trusted us to deliver their vision, even if it meant posing in the middle of Brookfield Place during the lunch time rush. We brought in our amazing head florist Anna from Botanica Naturalis to d...eliver one of her gorgeous bouquets in the brides favourite colours & Novi of Love Larire for her hand written chalkboards to add a bit of cheeky fun into the shoot. Not to forget one of our talented hair & makeup artists Alice Blue Hair & Make Up who always makes our brides look so effortlessly gorgeous. One of the biggest perks that comes with this job is witnessing best friends celebrate their love & allowing us to capture it on camera. At the end of the day the couple wasn’t even aware we were shooting them & were doing what came naturally, giggling all the way. Thank you so much Aaron & Cat for a wonderful day!
