One year ago today we opened the doors to Char Barossa with a vision to bring a relaxed dining option to the Barossa ~ somewhere between the pub and fine dining with a seasonal menu featuring the chargrill... and bloody good steaks (that happen to pair nicely with a Barossa red)! Simple, honest food, done well. Well, what a year! Little did we know what the next 12 months would have in store (hello COVID) but we have stayed buckled in on this roller co...aster ride, and couldn’t be more grateful for what we have today. Thank you to all our wonderful diners for your incredible support, love and feedback and for making our vision a reality. We love our Barossa community and are very humbled to be operating as small business owners within it. And thank you to our wonderful staff ~ our Char family.
