15.01.2022 To our beautiful, loyal, Charisma Family We want to start by saying THANK YOU! From the bottom of our hearts for sticking by us this year in the craziest of times! We got a good laugh out of some of the creative covid hairstyles created at home, but then so thankful you come back when times were brighter. We thank you for being patient with us while we managed the craziness and then so thankful for the kindness when we needed it most. ... We couldn't have picked a crazier year, but yet we are so thankful! We kicked butt and have come out the other side. So grateful for each and everyone of our beautiful clients that make us love what we do every single day! How long have you been with charisma- 4 years What is your favourite thing to do in the salon- I’m passionate about everything I do but I really enjoy barbering, balayage and bright colours What do you think you bring to the charisma team- I like to think i bring a lot of passion and care. I love sharing ways I like to colour/ cut Why do you think your clients love going to you- they love the way their hair looks, I try to make them feel special. I bring a new fresh ideas and mindset to the team while offering a unique style of hairdressing which differentiates me from others. Why do you think your clients love going to you? I’ve had the pleasure of working in multiple salons which has given me the experience in strong communication, education and knowledge which I can demonstrate to my guests. What do you like to do in your spare time? I love travelling, yoga, exploring and spending time with friends and family; with my most recent obsession being aerial hoop. What and who inspires you? I love trying new things and challenging my self What do you think you bring to the charisma team? Everyone has different ways of doing thing and I feel I make my work my own and I love what I do Why do you think your clients love going to you?i feel my confidence has gotten so much better and I always make sure my clients know I care What do you like to do in your spare time? Most of my spare time is spent with family and friends What and who inspires you? 09.01.2022 Mels turn for staff spotlight; Melissa Carpinato 29 years old. I have been hairdressing for over 12 years now. ... I’ve been working at Charisma Hair for 2 years. You can keep up with my before and afters over on @colourhaushair My favourite thing to do in salon is foiling! I could foil all day long! I also love blowdrying, a big bouncy blowdry is my absolute favourite! Since starting at Charisma I think I’ve added some fresh and new techniques coming from working in a wide range of salons in Sydney as well as a touch of humour and sarcasm! I like to think my clients love coming to me because of the results I achieve with their hair. I’m constantly thinking of ways to improve everyone’s style and colour and always willing to try something new. Clients usually find me really easy to get along with and always positive too! I’ll always go out of my way to get everyone in, I don’t like letting anyone down so always go above and beyond to find time for all. Great hair always helps too! In my spare time you’ll find me talking to or about my dogs (if you know, you know ) I practice Aerial Yoga and Aerial Hoop when I get the time. I also love travelling back to Sydney frequently to see my family and friends when possible! My niece and nephew are two of the cutest kids in the world. So getting a cuddle in where possible! On a personal front, my mum is my inspiration. She and dad have raised 4 children (I like to think we’re all pretty great), she’s owned her own businesses, she’s always there when I need a shoulder to cry on, someone to drink wine with and someone to laugh with. Professionally I love the works of Que salon and Bixie Colour in Sydney. Both salons produce such amazing hair and I would die to get into some training with either of them! Viva la Blonde & Los pastel in Perth are also some faves!
