A Licentiate is a status given to Accredited members who have been members for 15 years or more, the APP.L (Licentiate) logo is a mark of respect and seniority to be displayed proudly. Definition A licentiate is a person who has a formal attestation of professional competence, borne from experience, to not only practice a profession, but also to teach, educate and mentor others in the profession.

10.01.2022 Do you remember the first pictures that you took with a camera? I do, I was six when I went to Sea World in Hawaii with my family. I remember just how much fun it was to take the pictures, the anticipation of getting them back from the lab, and finally seeing the finished product several days later! ... Wow have things changed...the excitement and the anticipation is still the same now days except I get to see the pictures immediately. The final printed image is now more important than ever as we/people tend to just file the images away on our devices sometimes never to be seen again...and when technology changes they are lost forever... Please always print your favourite images then you will always have something that you can touch for generations see! What were your first photographic memories?

03.01.2022 Australian Professional Photography Awards APPA Last year (2016) I was lucky enough to be a finalist (top 3) in this competition, and for those who don’t know I was almost lucky enough to make the grade again this year, however I still did do very well with a couple of high silver distinctions and a silver This year I entered my favourite illustrative photograph of all timeIt scored an 88unfortunately one of the judges after marking it said that he had well and truly under...scored my printOh well there is always next year!
