17.01.2022 I must have driven over or walked under it a thousand times yet each time I do I enjoy it like it’s my first. There is something intangibly wonderful about its design, the lines and the curves, the steel and the stone. Next time you’re walking underneath be sure to look up and enjoy the play of light as it creates it’s own works of architectural art

15.01.2022 I’m a self confessed weather tragic, I really enjoy watching storms roll in, looking at all the different clouds and endlessly wondering how they form and why they look the way they do. Recently a particularly powerful east coast low was lashing Sydney with huge waves, strong winds, squally rain and an impressively low cloud base. For a while I’ve wanted an image that was strong, moody, had big white waves crashing over rocks and in mono, I knew that this weather pattern woul...d probably give me a few of those conditions. Time to grab the camera and head down to the beach!!! This is a composite of a few images all carefully bought together to tell a powerful story. The little surfer grommet was actually sitting on the rock and did watch some massive waves just not that particular wave! He was perfectly safe, came back to the beach in one piece but probably had temporary hearing loss ... it was loud where I was!!!

13.01.2022 We’ve been having some properly amazing sunrise and sunsets lately. A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to be at Bradley’s Head with camera in hand and managed to capture one of the aforementioned colourful and vibrant sunsets!

11.01.2022 I have a few images of Salar De Uyuni in my collection now. Whilst the others capture a moment in time this composite, for me, does a better job of capturing the emotion and the colour despite an apparently barren landscape. The hexagons or patterns in the salt are from a shot in the morning and the sky is an evening shot when the earth shadow was vibrant and rich with colour. Put them together and I’m super happy with the result and I’m suddenly transported back to Bolivia and reliving it all over again

05.01.2022 Capuchin Monkeys are as cute in real life as they look in all the Sir David Attenborough documentaries. Taking a lasting picture that captures their character in a single frame is a challenge though, they’re constantly moving and getting their tiny little faces and hands in pin sharp detail was bugger to do. Nonetheless with a deep breath, some perseverance and a super fast shutter speed I finally got something I’m happy with. I hope you enjoy it too!

04.01.2022 I’d been to Govetts Leap a couple times before, once just for the enjoyment of the view and another with the camera. It wasn’t until my third trip to catch up with Ignacio and Suzanne that I captured an image that I’m truly quite chuffed with. Although cold and windy the light was epic!!!
