23.01.2022 Striated Heron These Herons are masters of stealth hunting on the foreshore, often not moving for up to 5 minute, waiting for an opportunity to arise and then moving quickly to catch its prey. 05.01.2022 A Scenic View I never get tired of photographing this old shack, but these days it can only be photographed from the road unless you want to trespass onto this property. Nikon D500 with Nikon 18-140mm lens 12 images @ 30mm, 1.6sec, f8, iso100 Images edited in Lightroom Classic then exported/rendered into a panoramic image in PTGui. The composite image was then re-imported into Lightroom Classic for final editing.

02.01.2022 Lake Eden Wildlife Photo-walk 23rd November 2020 Late this afternoon I went for a short walk around the top half of Lake Eden hoping to see a few birds about and was treat to a bird fight between a Sacred Kingfisher a pair of Willy Wagtails who were objecting to it being to close to their nest. I was fortunate to have photographed 11 different types of birds on this day. Birds photographed are listed below: ...
