25.01.2022 "Kangaroo and Flannel Flowers" Pastels 40x30cm SOLD

25.01.2022 Charles Street Studio Gallery is located in Iluka NSW Australia. Jenny Johns and Janet Hauser both work from this studio and their works are on display here for sale. Janet Hauser is a well known botanical artist. She paints mainly for pleasure getting her inspiration directly from nature. In the past she was employed by the government as a botanist and at present she is very actively involved in the local historical society. Recently Janet has branched out into more self expressive semi-abstract works, beautifully illustrating how she sees the natural world. Jenny Johns paints from the heart when inspiration beckons her. Her works are varied and impressionistic usually expressing movement and gesture within the subject.
