21.01.2022 Communication is key when it comes to keeping your clients and customers feeling safe and confident in doing business with you. At the moment, frequent communication may be necessary - even when you are not sure how things may change further. Your clients access information in different places, at different times and in different ways - so try to cover all bases.... 1. On Your Website Let people know not only that you are complying with COVID-19 guidelines but how you are doing that - so that your clients and customers know what to expect when they enter your premises 2. Communicate by Email Update your clients about what the current situation means to them accessing your services, and how those services may be changing temporarily. Even if there is no change, let people know. 3. Show what you're doing Photos or videos on your social media helps people see what is really happening. One of the businesses we recently interviewed said their clients loved seeing everything being sanitised and it made them feel much more comfortable seeing this being done, and seeing what to expect when they came to the premises. Communication also keeps you front of mind, and demonstrates that you are proactive - something which is no longer a nice-to-have in the current circumstances. We would love to hear of any other ideas you have for communicating with your clients and customers.

09.01.2022 A timely reminder to check back regularly with ourselves to make sure we are working on the right things. Being the 'bottleneck' in our business is one of those tell-tale signs that perhaps we need to review if the hard work we are doing is on the right things. #onthebusiness #smallbusiness
