10.01.2022 March 2019 Winter was the best time to go to London and Paris. Flights were cheaper, we barely had to line up for attractions, and the weather stayed sunny thro...ughout the trip. Before the trip, we were aware that there may be complications on arrival. Gatwick had the drone incident, and Paris was rioting. Fortunately we avoided all the mess, and the trip went smoothly. We hired a car so that we had more flexibility when it came to travelling. London traffic was notoriously bad, and travelling from Notting Hill to the Royal Observatory took over 30 minutes! We drove to Stonehenge to witness the awe-inspiring stones built over 2000 years ago. They were aligned to mark the summer and winter solstices. Fascinating! In London, we bought the London Pass, which allowed us easy access to most of the attractions at a discount. It covered St Paul's Cathedral, Shakespeare's Globe and Westminster Abbey (and more). Paris was very different to London. French people were more relaxed and laid back, whereas Londoners always had somewhere they needed to go. The local bakeries made the most amazing baguettes and croissants. However, the worst experience on the trip happened on the train. I was holding 2 large luggages and it was crowded, everyone was squashed in like sardines. Suddenly, on my right and left I feel hands trying to reach into my jeans pockets. Luckily I was able to prevent them from stealing anything. Stay safe in Paris! I was very sad to hear about the fire at the Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris. It was such an intricate and mesmerising cathedral, and we're glad we were able to experience it before it was damaged. Overall, London was the more enjoyable of the two cities as we spoke the language and I felt more safe. I would suggest to anyone travelling in Europe to leave your phones and wallets in your bags, or buy a chain like our Airbnb host. If you have any questions about our itinerary please feel free to message me directly.

10.01.2022 Congratulations students of the UNSW B.Optom B.Sci Class of 2017. You have all put tremendous effort and dedication into this monumentous achievement. It is an honour to call you all my friends and classmates. May you all fight narrowness and achieve greatness. Finally, I am saddened to say that it may be the last time I photograph an optometry event for the UNSW Optometry Society. I have really enjoyed my role as a photographer for you all. Thank you for having me. PS. Thank you to Penny Pan for the graduation photos.

09.01.2022 Theme: Suits and stilettos Wild, emotional and unforgettable are words we can use to describe Ricky's 21st birthday party. His abundance of friends, from primary school to uni, gathered to farewell his youth and watch as a boy grew into a man. Most moving of all was the speech from his own father, who told of his late night karaoke and a memorable fishing trip. But the highlight of the night was Ricky, who shone brightest among all the stars. Happy birthday Ricky!

03.01.2022 Theme: Cocktails, Comfort and Confetti Location: Harlequin Inn Amazingly Attractive Alison stole the show at her 21st birthday party held at the Harlequin Inn. Her smile was infectious, her hair was voluptuous, and her bright LED shoes lit up the dancefloor. With her family and friends surrounding her, she was the star of the night. Happy birthday Alison!
