10.01.2022 Australian First Nations peoples are still not recognised in the Australian Constitution as Australia’s First Peoples. This needs to change. Australia is the only Commonwealth country to lack a treaty between its government and its First Peoples. In 1967 a change was made to include First Nations people in the census - and that is THE ONLY TIME First Nations people are mentioned in our constitution. To be part of the change - read the Uluru Statement of the Heart, support and make a submission for constitutional reform for First Nations led by First Nations.
