25.01.2022 So you know my style, I don’t really do glamour shoots or anything like that, but Kerrie lee got in touch and wanted some images for the Maxim cover girl competition. It was cool to try something different and she was super easy to work with. You can vote for her in the comp here - https://au.maximcovergirl.com/2020/kerrie-lee... These shots are pretty much straight out of camera, she’s so lucky with her flawless skin and great figure. We went natural light to start with, then one big soft light for the sunset ones. All with the Canon 1DXII and the 50mm 1.2. What do you reckon? What would you have done differently?

25.01.2022 So what is your favourite favourite part of the dry season? When we moved here 5 years ago, Darwin festival had just started, and it was the absolute BEST introduction to Darwin. Super cruisy atmosphere, families mixing in with the crazies, all just on one big happy vibe. I thought right then - I could get to like this place. Last festival I was asked to shoot the drone footage for the advertising, and now looking back at it I am starting to get excited for all that this dry ...has yet to throw at us. It’s so easy to forget while we live in times of peace, there were those who sacrificed everything for our future. Let us remember those people, and do the best we can to make it a better world for those who come after us x

21.01.2022 @PansOcean are killing it these days with a great line in rashies and surf wear for all those watermen and woman here in Darwin and worldwide. The sun is hot homey and you gotta protect yourself from it One thing though, It’s funny when people say you’re crazy to go in the ocean here in Darwin. You know what sounds crazy to me? Living in one of the hottest city’s on the planet, surrounded by beautiful turquoise water and not to jump in.... There are heaps of people who go in the ocean everyday, sunrise paddleboarders, lunchtime kayakers and lazy afternoon kitesurfers Its easy to distance ourself from nature these days, and assume that the world outside is out to bite you. The best way is to experience it all for yourself and realise the ocean isn’t one big crocodile @ Darwin, Northern Territory

19.01.2022 Some sneaky peeks from the cover shoot we did for the latest issue of @territoryqmag with the lovely @sophiapaspaley. She’s a talented jeweller for the famous Paspaley pearl empire, with her linage going back to the days when her grandfather used hard hat diving to hunt for the elusive Pinctada Maxima Oyster. Huge thanks to @becbrownhairandmakeup for her skills on the day.

14.01.2022 Its amazing whats above us if we only looked up more often. Here are 130 photos played back to see the milky way. No photoshop, just 30 second exposures to capture the light from the centre of our Galaxy. Crazy when you think about it really. As were only just back from Kakadu it is still fresh in my mind. This was just set up and rolling while I read a story to Ben, cant wait to get back and spend a bit of time creating something really special

07.01.2022 Darwin made aviation history last night as the big bird herself, the A380 landed at Darwin airport for the first time ever. Bitter sweet, as it was unable to refuel at Singapore due to the current health crisis, it was full of people bound for London. Qantas invited me to shoot stills and video of this big bird landing.

05.01.2022 TIO campaign we shot with Campaign Edge & Global Headquarters for the current marketing campaign you may have seen on TV. Was pretty cool to roll with a crew of 20 people who were all on point. Shooting on locations over the territory over 4 days, we'd turn up and assemble catering, hair and makeup and just about every camera goodie you could think of all to get the shot. Nice to see some of my stuff on buses rolling by these days too.

Collaboration helps in so many ways, from bouncing ideas off each other to seeing things in a totally different light For example in this shoot I’m pretty sure the Shopping trolley thing was Anya's idea. I would never have thought of putting them in it and them whizzing round like race cars ... From this fashion shoot with Gracie and Jeanette from @bread_boutique_darwin we simply shot this on the lane behind the store, using one hard light and colour pop from all the graffiti to make some vibrant images. Having the awesome outfits from Bread and the good Gracie vibes was a good team for success @ Darwin, Northern Territory
