15.01.2022 I don’t think it’s possible to grasp or even contemplate the damage and destruction of the bushfires until you’re standing in what used to be a national park full of vibrance and life that is now nothing but burned trees and rocks that have cracked from the insane heat of the fires, further than the eyes can see. There is nothing but a deafening silence of what used to be. Not a single chirp from a bird or one flying through the sky. It is honestly devastating and it’s hard... to hold back the tears. All hope is not lost. Life is slowly returning. Like a phoenix that rises from the ashes, so will our once beautiful bushland and forests. See more
