25.01.2022 We as parents have not made this decision lightly, but have made this decision for our daughters, our teachers and our community. Charli & Ruby will be staying home until further notice due to COVID-19... Our teachers do an amazing job throughout the year, so I grabbed them afew small essentials that I could find today. We would prefer to have our girls home, it takes that extra stress off the teachers, and the worry out of our girls eyes. I wouldn't go too far in saying ...that we are fully prepared for 'home schooling' but we are definitely prepared for 'life learning'. Our girls will not be socializing with the outside world in shops or playgrounds, they will still have their technology so they can talk to their friends and family. Everybody that CAN do this, SHOULD do this... And if you can't for work reasons, I totally understand. We hope you all stay safe & we will see you on the other side See more

24.01.2022 With the covid situation getting under control (as good as it can be), the separation from Bug has been long, we have missed seeing the whole family Well today we took a little trip.. was so worth it. Seeing these lil beauties all together again was wonderful. They played, had fun and even did a lil make-up. See you all again soon

24.01.2022 1 YEAR POST OP BRAIN SURGERY And what a bloody great year its been. CHARLI MAY, you rock my world..!! You demanded this surgery, no matter what the outcome could have been, you stood tall, proud and VERY determined that you were going to come out of this 100% better.. Well my darling girl, YOU WERE RIGHT. ... Not 1 of your symptoms have returned, the headaches, blurry vision, uncontrollable moodswings, sleeping problems, pins and needles, blood noses, dizzy spells, ALL GONE...!!! You never gave up HOPE to live your life the way a young girl is supposed to. To all that have supported us throughout this whole journey, WE THANK YOU, from the bottom of our hearts. CHARLI & CATHARINE , I wish you both a HAPPY 1 YEAR BRAINAVERSARY......

23.01.2022 Happy Easter from us to you. We have been self isolating for about 3weeks now, (only Tony and I going to the shops for food), home schooling for the girls. Its actually been wonderful having the girls home, if Tony and Aiden weren't so "essential" they wouldn't have to work . Missing our eldest boy Jackson, so so much, this is our FIRST 'event' without us all together. ... Stay safe everyone, hug your kids, and #washyourhands lol

22.01.2022 I am pleased to announce that Charli had her first official training session last night, since not being allowed to play from october 2017 . Ever so proud of you my darling, you ran straight into it tonight and didnt second guess yourself when you went in for a tackle. 19.01.2022 This was our last call for help in raising 100k for miss Charli's surgery.... How bloody emotional watching this today, my baby has chosen not to play footy again (yet), because life changed after sugery, she has become more aware and she doesnt want to get hurt, and moving away from our beloved town Jimboomba, she doesnt want to 'give it her all' at another club... Her loyalties lie with Thunder.... until she decides to strap on those boots again and realise she's not lett...ing HER club down by not being there... #chance4charliwarrior

16.01.2022 7 years of primary school From day 1 of prep to last day of year 6. This beautiful girl of ours has conquered more than most do in their lifetime. From deep within our hearts we just want to thank you all again, from the small to large donations, can/bottle collecting, raffles, community events, fund-raisers. Even though we live on the other side of the country, you all hold a massive piece of our heart. 14.01.2022 This week we were blessed with free tickets to go to the NRL9s over here in Perth..from Transperth and Tourism WA, thank you so much !!!!!! And what a wonderful long day it has been. Charli got to see her 2 main players, Meg Ward and Ali Brigginshaw.... and even got a photo with Sam Thaiday... oh the shine in this girls eyes .. you have made her so happy. And little sis Ruby got to meet and get a pic with Tamika Upton.. 07.01.2022 I would like to say CONGRATULATIONS to Charli, for her awesome efforts at yesterdays game, 13 tackles, playing in the rain, covered in mud.... Today we received her acceptance letter from the high school. Our baby is in the RUGBY PROGRAM... Thanks to all that has supported her throughout her diagnosis, surgery and recovery process, and still 18months after surgery. Charli's future is looking brighter because of you.

03.01.2022 2 whole months of having these beauties at home with me, they surely have enjoyed their first week back at school I was very anxious on sending them, but on the plus side, they have had one on one learning with me, and now know how to do large subtraction, division, tell the time , and still getting there with multiplication. (Sorry for teaching you the wrong way -my way-, and having to redo it all again) Charli knows how to do her 9x tables Ruby has smashed through her c...lock formats. They have made me so proud, being stuck at home, no shops, no friends houses. They know how to stay safe, they understand this pandemic, they have grown up so much more during this time at home.
