14.01.2022 I had the absolute pleasure of sitting down with the wonderful Katie Spain to chat for an hour for Australia's Wine Business Magazine (WBM). I totally screwed the day up and the resulting chat is a bit raw, and a lot me. And Katie is a bit bloody clever to create magic out of ramblings in everything she does. Also this publication is the ducks guts, the pages are still thick and heavy, the content is riveting and relevant and it feels like reading a mag not a brochure. So rare these days. Worth the subscription.

14.01.2022 It’s almost time . We are open everyday until next Tuesday, including Saturday night, then we’re checking out for a little bit. For some of this and this and this . Then I’ll be back spamming you with grapes, and even though I say I’m not doing those weird vintage videos again, I probably will, and again, I’ll be terribly embarrassed about them after the delirium of vintage exhaustion wears off. So there’s that to look forward to!

12.01.2022 It’s been a minute, but today, finally, the Langhorne Creek Fiano is leaving its barrels. I’ve not touched this wine except to top. Sitting on all its delicious, palate filling, microbial spoilage arresting, lees. I’m excited. Super excited infact (@jbcdv). And nervous. Always nervous in this first move. Bottling in ten days. Exciting (did I mention I’m excited already? And nervous, I’m nervous).
