In time of emergency, they’re often the only lifeline for some of the most remote communities when cut of by rain floods or cyclones. Every day we fly charters, scheduled services and scenic tours across this vast Northern Territory and Far North Queensland of ours.

Operating out of two main bases in Darwin and Alice Springs with a fleet of 40 aircraft consisting of C206, C210, C310, C402, C441 C208 Caravan, and B58 aircraft, we offer terrific opportunities for professional individuals. Chartair have multiple positions at Darwin and Alice Springs Maintenance facilities. The company is seeking expressions of int...erest for highly motivated and experienced staff including: - B1.1, B1.2 & B2 LAME’s with a General Aviation background - Experienced AME’s, and Apprentices (Mechanical & Avionics) To be considered for B1 LAME position(s), you: - Must have a strong commitment to aviation safety - Must have General Aviation experience - Must have experience on Cessna single and twin engine aircraft - Must have TPE331 experience and, if not licenced, hold the required requisites to obtain the licence. - PT6 licence highly regarded To be considered for B2 LAME position(s), you: - Must have a strong commitment to aviation safety - Must have General Aviation experience - Must have experience on Cessna single and twin engine aircraft - Should have the majority of lower group Electrical, Instrument and Radio licenses - Bench repair and component maintenance experience highly regarded B1 & B2 LAME Salary will be negotiated based on experience and licenses. To be considered for AME, & Apprentice position(s), you will have: - A strong commitment to aviation safety - Strong communication skills - The ability to achieve tasks with minimal supervision - Strong time managements skills as well as a good focus on attention to detail - Year 12 passes in Maths, Physics and Chemistry highly regarded - For AME’s - Experience on Cessna single and twin engine aircraft highly regarded. 16.01.2022 Away on a scenic flight over Darwin!!! Our team at work won a scenic flight over Darwin. I was lucky enough to be chosen as the 4th person to go. We flew over... the the Darwin coast, the Tiwi’s and Adelaide river. Adelaide river is amazingly big with all of its twists and turns for miles! How lucky I am to work were I do, surrounded by awesome team mates and so many opportunities to experience unique and beautiful places in our awesome Northern Territory!
