23.01.2022 Finally, we have a date. We will have updates before the event in regards to the COVID safety plan- everyone needs to be kind and respect the rules in place. It has not been an easy road in running this event and if all things don’t run smoothly we will not be hosting another one until COVID is over, so be smart. We are encouraging that ONLY competitors attend and there will be no ‘hanging around’ you will be encouraged to ‘ride and leave’. ... Please read the details on the event in regards to nominations. 21.01.2022 Good evening everyone- nominations are now open! PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE POST and the event details before sending a message through asking a question that is answered on this post. I’m sorry to sound rude but we don’t have time to be getting back to everyone’s questions. Membership is to be purchased through ABHA directly. Follow this link - https://abha.com.au/membership... Click purchase membership and you’ll be able to choose yearly or day. Adult yearly is $77 Junior yearly is $44 Day membership for all ages is $44 Arena hire fee- $5 per family Exhibitions- $5 for 2 minutes (max 2 runs per horse) Open 3D Barrel Race- $40 ($30 AB) Juniors: LED’s- $5 Peewees (under 11) - $15 Junior 3D barrel race (11-18) - $25 (AB $19) Poles: LEDs- $5 Peewees- $10 Juniors- $15 Open poles - $20 ALL NOMINATIONS are to be PRE-PAID by Wednesday the 26th of August, we will not be accepting any after this date- no exceptions. All payouts will be organised prior to the event so no cash will be handled on the day this also means that no cancelling/refunding of nominations after Saturday will be accepted. Please message the FB group with the following- Name Membership number Horse name/s Event/s age group 1 or 2 runs (open 3D and Junior 3D only)

20.01.2022 NEWSFLASH: The ABHA Board of Directors would like to advise all members that we have removed the qualifying criteria from all three events (Patsie Holder Memori...al Classic, Open Divisional and Junior Divisional) at the 2020 National Finals. This is subject to COVID-19 restrictions being removed in time for the finals to run in September as planned. Equitana has advised all plans are still in place for the 2020 Equitana to go ahead, we will advise the new qualifying criteria for the 2020 Equitana Event in the near future.

17.01.2022 Good morning lovelies! I have noticed quite a few people have clicked attending on our June event. Unfortunately, we are still in limbo with the whole covid-19 and have no clue when we’ll be up and running again. AS SOON as we know, we’ll let you know! In the mean time we are still running our raffle. We had an idea of maybe having an incentive so you guys could help us sell. The idea would be for every $20 worth you can sell, we’ll pop 5 free tickets in your name. Does this sound like something anyone would be interested in?

13.01.2022 Just a reminder to all competitors- Nominations close midnight Wednesday and we will not be accepting any after this time, no exceptions. No spectators please, unless you’re with a junior. ... There will be QR code’s for you to scan with your smart phone and sign in to the venue. If you place and we see you haven’t signed in, you will forfeit your payout. All of these are a part of our COVID safety plan and we would really appreciate everyone’s compliance

11.01.2022 Hello lovely competitors! We hope you’re all well. Just updating you on what our plans are as a club. We definitely won’t be going ahead in July- we are aiming for August. I am currently on Placement for Uni and Jade has her own little family occupying her time so we have been a little behind in organising dates to be approved. ... If and when we do go ahead there will be STRICT rules and regulations. We can’t afford to be the club that breaks the rules. I’ll go into further details once dates have been organised and approved. Please be patient with us- we know everyone is kicking to get back in the pen but we need to be smart about it. Cheers, Jesse

10.01.2022 Anyone who is a yearly member for ABHA is able to attend the 2019 ABHA state championships in Gracemere. If you haven’t had a chance to attend a finals before I highly recommend, the atmosphere and competitive energy is unmatched. All details are on the ABHA cal coast page and this event, nominations are taken online and close mid October.

09.01.2022 Good morning competitors! Just a few ground rules for today- There will be QR code posters at the entry gate to the laneway and another up at the announcers box- please scan these with your phone and sign in. This is compulsory, if you don’t sign in and you place, your payout will be forfeited. ... Only the next 2 competitors are to be in the waiting yard before the entry gate. Do not block the laneways and keep in mind that the road will have trucks driving up and down all day. Just a heads up about the grounds- the council have not mowed/slashed so those warming up in the Campdraft arena need to take care. Remember there is no canteen so byo food and drinks. There will be hand Sanitiser about, keep an arms length from other competitors at all times. Lastly, don’t be inconsiderate. If you’re sick or showing any signs or symptoms- stay home. 03.01.2022 MASSIVE thank you to all that came and participated today! Unfortunately, the ground at the equestrian centre is not suitable for any more shows- we cannot risk any accidents and the safety of our riders/horses is top priority. The council does not care for the maintenance of the facility and we as a club can not afford to. We will update everyone when we plan our next days and where. ... Again, thank you all for coming! thank you to our volunteers- without you Jade and myself wouldn’t be able to compete and run the show. I will post place getters tomorrow when I get a chance.

01.01.2022 Hello everyone! Just an update, I’ve only just received confirmation back from ABHA and unfortunately there are a few forms due to COVID that I needed to have done by today- that wasn’t possible. So we are thinking of postponing until the 30/08, what do you all think? We definitely will and want to be going ahead but COVID planning is making it a HUGE job.
