24.01.2022 Happy to Help Sandra as they are only new to the caravan game , Some of the common mistakes , don’t panic, make sure the back of your van is a good bit past where your aiming to put it, thinking you will pull up short so you don’t have to reverse so far back won’t work it will just make it harder . Don’t stand behind your van giving directions they cannot see you , Practice standing beside you passenger window looking towards the van , if the back of the van needs to go to the left you tell your driver left hand down and the back of the van needs to go to the right it’s right hand down . it’s not a race slow and steady and practice . If your reversing yourself a good tip is if you see to much van in the right mirror its right hand down or if you see to much van in the left mirror it’s left hand down .
