08.01.2022 A special thank you goes out to Sharon Stevenson, who was willing to take on our canteen convenor role when covid-19 and a few other challenges were thrown at us earlier this year. Sharon managed her U17 team, ran our canteen and rocked up to every home game over the last few years with her usual goodies of rainbow cupcakes, caramel tarts, toffees and sour straps. These were a massive hit with the kids (and most adults too!) and sold out every time, which has been a great help to our fund raising efforts. She has unofficially been crowned as the "Best Hot Chip Cooker in the world", and will surely be missed, as she steps down from volunteering with her son now graduating from Junior Miners. Thank you so much Sharon, we are so grateful for all your help and we will miss you (and your cooking!)
