15.01.2022 Yes it is obviously a scam, but in case you receive one of these and your guilty conscience makes you think that it could possibly be true - DO NOT VIEW THE INFRINGEMENT!!! Delete this email immediately!

15.01.2022 This is a blatant ad :-) Over the past few days (weeks) I have been putting the finishing touched to website. It is not quite done yet, but you should get the i...dea. Aquatrek has 2 primary products, the Supadiverta which lets you capture and divert cleaner water to your tank, pool or garden, and the Supa Gutter Pumper. The Gutter Pumper is a clever little device that sucks water from your guttering faster than it can fill, and in doing so it Stops Gutter Overflows. With the current weather forecast for the week ahead, you may just wish you had one right now!! Pop along to https://www.aquatrek.net.au See more

15.01.2022 Last one for 2019!!!

14.01.2022 I just got a very disconcerting call from National Australia Bank (?), after the formalities of verifying my identity "Keith" proceeded to inform me that an unusual transaction of $800 for a NZ holiday with my credit card made from a suburb in Western Australia had just been blocked. Keith was very reassuring as he recounted how someone almost certainly hacked my PC to obtain my details and then proceeded to tell me the steps to change my ID and password. At this point I hung... up. THIS IS A SCAM If you get such a call, log into your netbanking and check the statement. If there are any blocked transactions they will already be visible! If this is too stressful, ring your bank and ask. Do not ever follow instructions from an unsolicited caller whether they claim to be from your bank, the ATO, Microsoft, Nortons, anyone. My caller sounded very plausible, had an Australian accent and was very clear on the phone. It's a pity that such a talented young man has no conscience and is prepared to lie and extort personal information from anyone.

05.01.2022 For those of you in the Grantville area deciding whether to connect to NBN and with whom, please take the article on p14 of the South Gippsland Sentinal Times 06.03.18 with a pinch of salt. It may be correct (and if so I will apologise), but it is claiming the copper phone network will be disconnected commencing April 12. We are investigating and hope it is not true because most could not connect until just after Christmas last and you should have 18 months after availability to decide. Perhaps they meant April 12, 2019?? There are similar dates for most other localities in this region - so we shall see.

03.01.2022 I would like to say something poignant, but it is difficult. Every day I am assailed by liars and would be thieves. I receive at least 4 call a day from Telstra Technical Support. Every day the NBN Technical Support rings me to advise that I am about to be disconnected. The ATO rings to advise me that I am going to be heavily fined and the Chinese ring me to declare something in Chinese that I do not understand. I get emails from Paypal telling me to "click this link" or they... will disable my account immediately, I have had the bank send me a statement showing strange transactions on my account, just "click here" to confirm these are fraudulent. We are under attack. The con-men (& women) have moved into our houses, onto our phones and into our emails and daily lives. You can not ignore these calls, texts and emails - they look and sound real. BUT Do not play the game by their rules. DO NOT DO AS THEY REQUEST!!! Call from Telstra Technical Department? Fine, hang up (no need to be polite), ring Telstra and have your bill with you so they can advise if there is a problem. NBN advising you may be cut off? Fine. Ring your current service provider, their contact details are on your last bill. The ATO rang - rubbish!! Please ring them if you wish, but rest assured the ATO doesn't ring thru ransoms, fines and penalties, it is always in writing. Ignore the Chinese - time enough to fight them when we are at war. Paypal? Log in to your account, if there is a problem it will be obvious. IT IS ALL A SCAM, the world has gone mad. Every day we are pummeled by these outrageous claims - in time we come to accept, perhaps even believing in them. STOP Have a cup of tea or coffee - if it's late have something stronger. If you cannot get your head around the problem, ring and chat with a friend, or even me. RELAX It is not real. The "computer generation" has entered the "Twilight Zone" See more
