24.01.2022 How can you tell if you're stressed? .. perhaps it's time to consider some self-care
21.01.2022 I love when people get inventive and think outside of the box! Have fun and enjoy life! Right?! Every fitness modality has a way to progress into it! A good trainer will be able to take a regular couch potato and help steer them towards whatever fitness modality you'd like.. I'd love to hear from anyone looking for direction if you want to try a sport and genuinely think its impossible Lately the main focus is currently on holistic body work. ... When it comes to a holistic approach to body work, its good to know that freedom from pain and discomfort is only ever the start. The overall focus is on longevity and performance quality regardless of age. If you are feeling pain, it's essentially your body letting you know that your natural compensating mechanisms have been overloaded and it now needs to try to protect itself. The trick is to not let your body become overloaded in the first place. Questions to ask yourself regarding body maintenance. Is there pain or discomfort in your body with or without certain activities/movements? Is there anything in your body not moving or functioning the way that it should? Does one side of the body move a bit differently to the other? Are you regularly feeling extra tired? Are you getting headaches? Are you experiencing weird nervy stuff? Do you feel extra stress or tension in your body? If you've answered yes to any of the above, you probably need to book in for a session with me Another element is always keep trying to get a little stronger. We are not designed to be stagnant, ie if we don't use something in the body, it will break apart the molecules of whatever "it" is and put it into another part of the body where it will be of more use.. simple A strong & healthy body will be able to adapt to stressors more readily than a weaker body. ie, mind (ability to process our thoughts and experience), body (muscles, ligaments, tendons, bones, nervous system, heart/circulatory system, organs), spirit (our vibrational levels of love, happiness, joy, appreciation etc. inside and out) Look after your body, so it will look after you.
19.01.2022 Getting old has so many variations to it, sure the future is unpredictable, but you can always put things in your favour .. I’m always steering things towards being full of energy, vitality, strength, mobility.. and just being able to dance my way to the end Hope you all have an epic holidays season happening
16.01.2022 This is amazing.
14.01.2022 Keep on moving folks

12.01.2022 Hey everyone! Hopefully everyone has survived and recovered well by now Did you know we can work directly on the liver to help it function better? 11.01.2022 With the 4th year of exams all packed away, there are more times available for treatment times.. Yay! If you're overdue for a treatment send me a message and we'll make it happen Also~ I'm offering discounts to concession card holders (ie, students/pensioners etc).. so please let me know if this is you ... With all of this "study" going on, i'd love to share a little bit of what its actually is about (hopefully without getting too technical ).. The first couple of years had us doing massage techniques, big deep stretches, mobilisations and manipulations or all of the different parts of the body.. epic stuff to be able to interact with every bone, muscle, and joint in the body including breathing mechanics.. In the last year, like usual, things have been stepping up! Between the osteopathy and other workshops, there's a bunch of new skills to add to the list. The favourites lately are: Balancing ligamentous tension - this is an amazing way to work on joint and muscle pain through manipulation of the bodies fascia. Its an incredibly gentle, yet powerful technique which has taken time to master the finesse, but can be really good even in acutely tender situations all over the body.. especially pain in the necks, back, wrists, knees and hips, there's something for anywhere really Cranial techniques in the osteopathic field. This is blowing my mind. We've been shown how to feel into what is believed to be the rhythm of the spinal fluid moving around the brain, spinal cord and the nervous system. I'd heard about this once years ago and thought it was something of a myth. Once again an incredibly gentle approach to working with the body. Its perfect if you're dealing with stress, headaches, body fatigue. It's like if you could tap directly into the bodies mainframe and access the wiring inside, next level stuff. Pretty sure i'll be adding this into the end of a session for everyone so you can be feeling super chilled after a good body work session.. Also the rehabilitation work for strengthening old damaged areas of the body, and strapping has been fun too... There's so much learning thats been happening, I'm looking forward to sharing it with you all! Loads of love to you all ~ Chase

05.01.2022 Just started getting back into some Brazilian jiu jitsu with this crew and damnn it feels good If you're feeling inspired to move, do it! Staying motivated to move is one of the simplest battles most people face. One suggestion is to find people who help to keep that inspiration alive and roll with it for as long as you can, whatever the movement practice is. ... Key base line fundamentals for good quality, long lasting health: Movement, Nutrition and Recovery..... Is there a way you can ditch a bad habit or improve these fundamentals in your own life?
05.01.2022 I'm really thankful for a little bit of a scientific approach to body work.. I wonder if anyone has actually had this type of experience?? https://www.facebook.com/Channel4/videos/1101583829976302/UzpfSTc5NDExMzA1NzoxMDE1NjcwNzg2NTI4MzA1OA/
04.01.2022 How do you breathe? Is your own breathing exerting too much energy? Is there a breathing pattern causing you back pain or other discomfort? I’ve recently completed another course learning to assess for and to help reduce dysfunctional breathing patterns and how they relate to back pain. Poor breathing patterns can be causing you back pain, increasing fatigue and many other things. ... When you breathe, do you notice your chest rise? The pressure build up in your abdomen? That’s a direct impact on your whole torso. Everyone has been loving the impacts on their breathing realignments lately. Simply let me know if you would like me to do this for you on our next session.. See more
