22.01.2022 Itching for an African Safari This was taken moments before @kirkman.mike kicked into gear and reversed us away from the Eastern Bank of the Sand River towards the watercourse. A certain urgency was demanded as two males of the dominant coalition abruptly broke into a fight and the females above our bonnet on the bank were looking for an escape route. They never headed our way but in my head I had seen Mike with a lioness on his lap. Needless to say, we had our adrenalin ...dosage for the day. So we thought- this is Africa.
