20.01.2022 Our CD launch at Foundry616 last Saturday was a great night. Thanks to everyone who joined us there and created such a sweet atmosphere. Very exciting to be launching our 2nd CD, Ooh La La which includes a few original tracks and some old faves.

16.01.2022 A huge thank you to our friend Frank Brus for filming our 2nd Chasing the Moon gig at Foundry616 in June. The band was very happy to be playing again (albeit be...hind perspex) and the audience were happy to be out on the town again. 14.01.2022 Looking forward to our gig at Newcastle Jazz Club next Sunday 26th May. For this gig we'll be joined by Ali Foster on drums ably wielding the sticks in place of our usual rhythm man, Mike Quigley. See you there!

13.01.2022 We had a lovely play for the crowd at Central Coast Jazzleague last Sunday 17th. So enjoyable to perform for this audience of genuine music lovers and fine dancers too!

12.01.2022 See you in Greenlees Park, Concord this Sunday 15th March for the Concord Carnival. We'll be playing in The Spiegel Tent at 11.20am as well as on the Main Stage at 2.05PM. 12.01.2022 Chasing the Moon is super excited to announce that we'll be playing live again in June. With the easing of rules for live venues in NSW, we're able to play again at Foundry616 and we have two shows coming up there. The first is on Saturday 13th June and the second will be on Saturday 27th June. Hopefully this is the beginning of live music getting back on it's feet again!

05.01.2022 This Friday 12th April we'll be at La Perouse Museum for a twilight concert hosted by Randwick Council, 6pm to 8.30pm. Well be joining Dandyman and the Foxy Moron to present an evening of Hot Club swing and Latin sounds interspersed with the masterful magic, chaotic clowning, preposterous physical feats of varietyville. 02.01.2022 We began our recording process back in January with a failed attempt to record live in an old church hall ... great vibe but too much sound crossover! Reconvened at Paul's place in April to lay some great rhythm section tracks. Then lots of visits to Paul's by us all to layer on everything else. Finally many late night hours of listening, mixing and mastering to our finished product. The artwork and master are off with Troy Horse now getting turned into CD's. The title is Ooh La La and it features 11 tracks, some originals and some covers in the gypsy jazz, Latin and musette style. We'll be launching it in Sydney on the 8th December at Foundry616.
