23.01.2022 Can she do it? Alison Sharpe (Killara) is in the running to take the Australian AC Open in the final at Carinleigh today. Alison is playing off against Jenny Cl...arke (NZ) in what is possibly the first ever final where two women have made it through the highly competitive knockout to have an all female final. Alison has had a terrific year in the National events being successful in the GC Womens singles (photo) and in doubles for both the GC and AC Opens partnering with David Hanbidge and Jim Nicols, respectively, in these events. There will be no surprise that we are cheering for Alison to win this event as well, go Ally! Check progress on https://croquetscores.com/20//aust-singles/finals-knockout

12.01.2022 Good on ya Charlie!!

09.01.2022 Florida friends narrowly escaped Hurricane Dorian’s wrath to join other players from around the country (including Dave and Ellen from ChicagoCC) for Downeast M...aine’s Big Lobster. The biannual event combining 9 and 6 wicket play on 4 different court locations around Mount Desert Island often confounds strategists who have to adapt to the unique rules each game brings. The games began today, with lunch break at the lovely Claremont Hotel Boathouse, so for now we’re alllll smiles. See more
