24.01.2022 We were back at it last night! Rangers took on CC Strikers in 2 physical encounters Joel Cangy kept up his good form in front of goals with a great finish to have the Reserve team up 1-0 but unfortunately a few injuries hurt our depth and we went down 2-1 James Pratt also found the back of the net again, in what was a physical game though Rangers missing a few key personnel went down 4-1 Always a big thank you to the other legends of the club who put their hand up to help wh...enever needed the lads appreciate it Win lose or draw we pride ourselves on club culture and the guys all deserved their Milky Lane burgers after the match See more

22.01.2022 Match Report Round 5 vs Berowra Saturday at Chatswood High School the PL squad faced off 2019 Div 2 champions Berowra ... Reserve Grade Unfortunately we had some late withdrawals from the lineup so we were thin again, Berowra took the lead midway through the first half and from then on it was 1 way traffic for Rangers but not from a lack of effort but the ball would not go in for us, we finished with a disappointing 1-0 loss but plenty of positives to move forward on First Grade We started well being comfortable on the ball, some nice play through the midfield presented a great chance for James which ricocheted off the post, a good battle for the rest of the half 0-0 halftime, Berowra started the second half well, we were reduced to 10 men for 10 minute sin bin Berowra capitalised on the numbers scoring twice, soon after Berowra had a man go into the bin and Andrew Zoratto finished Cooly to get his 3rd of the season and us back into the match, we pushed on for the equaliser but it didnt come, 2-1 down the final result Next week has Rangers take on Lindfield away at Charles Bean looking for both grades to bounce back

16.01.2022 Thomson Oval in Artarmon is one of the busiest (in normal times) in the Willoughy Council area. It was let down by very poor (to be polite) amenities for playe...rs and also for local residents using the oval. That's why I worked to secure $515,000 in federal funding to help Council build upgraded new facilities. I checked out progress this week with Mayor Gail Giles-Gidney and Councillor Brendon Zhu - Willoughby City Council. 16.01.2022 This week saw our Reserve grade team take part in Monday night football!! After what has been a tough few weeks for the team, they went out Monday night knowing it was important to get back to winning ways and a good result could be the catalyst to change our entire year. Dominating the possession saw Rangers draw first blood after a free kick saw a scramble for the ball in the box and Michael Posavac capitalized. A penalty to Barker saw them score to head into the half t...ime break with scores locked at 1-1. The second half saw both teams come out fighting. Some dominating runs from Euan Spiers, Ross Kingswell and Ciaran Gilling unnerved the Barker defense, resulting in Ross Kingswell being brought down in the box. Not giving up this opportunity, he stepped up to convert and send Rangers to a 2-1 lead. A tug of war to finish out the contest but Rangers werent letting this one slip and made sure to diffuse the Barker attack giving them no chance to fight back. Man of the match goes the Euan Spiers for a stellar performance and defense destroying runs. Give me an RRRRR! See more

15.01.2022 Match Report Chatswood Rangers vs Mt Colah Round 2 saw newly promoted Mt Colah travel down for the fixture at Chatswood ... Both of our squads were eager to post a win on the board to get our season on track Reserve grade started well and full of confidence, Michael Posavic gave us the lead which was soon doubled from a Poulad toe bash which found its way into the top corner, Posa added his 2nd and the teams 3rd before halftime, we added to our total when Alex Pez Rod finished following a freekick from Rangers, Final score 4-0, Man of the match given to Ciaran Gilling who not only stepped up but caused Mt Colah defence headaches with his pace First Grade took control of the game early, for most parts had the large chunk of the game and restricting Mt Colah to little, Rangers got their breakthrough near half time through Nicholas Condylis and thats how it stayed through to the break, Isaac Kim doubled our lead just after the break to go 2 up but then to Mt Colahs credit they pushed on and got themselves back into the game at 2-1, the reaction was perfect from our lads as James Pratt got a quick brace to have us 4-1 up and comfortable, Capitano Andrew Zotti added the 5th from a freekick before Mt Colahs captain put one in his own net to round out the game at 6-1, James Pratt given the nod for our man of the match with 2 great strikers goals, plenty hard work up the top and creating chances for his teammates as well Next week has Chatswood Rangers with a Friday night game vs Knox United at Blackman Park Give me an RRRRRRR

11.01.2022 Match Report Round 4 vs North Sydney United We were back at Home looking to get back to winning ways in both grades- unfortunately our injury toll was already significant which left us with limited numbers... Reserve grade started off positive and on the front foot- we were awarded a penalty which Michael Posavac dispatched to give us the lead and his 4th goal this season, we doubled our lead through George Karantzas though unfortunately before the stroke of half time North Sydney pulled one back, the 2nd half North Sydney introducing fresh legs made the difference as they equalised then took the lead, We went down to 10 men and North Sydney ran away with it 5-2 end score First Grade started off strong and in control of the match, North Sydney were reduced to 10 men and from the resulting freekick Isaac Kim headed us into the lead, his 2nd goal of the season, to North Sydney credit they fought back and equalised, Rangers increased the intensity and James Pratt pressure on their back 4 paid dividends as he forced a mistake to round their Goalkeeper and give us back our lead, 2-1 at half time, the score didnt change in the second half where we didnt control the match as we should, But we take the 3 points regardless Next week we host newly promoted Berowra at Home who have had a positive start back in the Premier League
