19.01.2022 The Kangaroo Feather Publishing Co. is an imprint which breathes new life into out-of-print books and military publications of interest to the Adventurer, Historian, Re-enactor and the Serious Student of Military Equitation, Fieldcraft and Field Scouting and Reconnaissance both mounted and dismounted. What's this got to do with Chauvel's Bushmen? Half of the proceeds of sales of Kangaroo Feather Publishing titles are donated directly to Chauvel's Bushmen to help fund training... and operations. Not typically available directly from the publisher unless you want to do a group/bulk purchase, the titles are sold at major online and bricks and mortar bookstores around the world. Titles: (Note - this post will be updated as new titles are published) Linked here are the Amazon Australia listing for the books. Folks in other parts of the world will find them locally. 12.01.2022 Today, 18th of August 2020 is Vietnam Veteran's Day in Australia. While it marks the 54th anniversary of the Battle of Long Tan, we commemorate the service and sacrifice of all Australians who served in South Vietnam - especially the 521 Aussies who lost their lives in that conflict and those who continue to deal with the aftermath. 12.01.2022 Launching proper on the 1st of December, we now have a shop on our website www.bushmen.com.au Initially we will be offering limited numbers of Chauvel's Bushmen Field Notebooks, two styles of morale patches and a couple of items of field equipment. All proceeds of sales go towards funding Chauvel's Bushmen training and operations to help us do the best we can for our members and for the community organisations we support.

06.01.2022 A day that will live in infamy. The Imperial Japanese sneak attack on the US fleet base at Pearl Harbor 07DEC1941 was the start of a program of near-simultaneous attacks against Malaya, Dutch East Indies, Hong Kong, Singapore, the Philippines, Guam and Wake Island which started the Pacific Campaign of WWII, a campaign which had a particularly profound impact on Australia, the USA, Britain and all other countries involved in pushing the enemy back. Lest We Forget.
