08.01.2022 So I've been working over the school holidays with a couple of beautiful families. I have known both families for 3 years and I have been lucky enough to be able to bring my children with me while I care for their children. During this time I have realised how valuable this is for everyone. My children have learnt that we ALL must work in life, they have learnt that they need to respect other people and their homes and the most important thing is to love your job. This has al...so worked for the families too. Their children have had other little people to play with and while they have all been playing together I have done all the normal mum/dad jobs; empty the dishwasher, do the dishes, fold some laundry, sweep the floor, mop the floor, bring the bins etc, etc. The families have come home to a clean house and happy children; what family wouldn't be happy with that. 01.01.2022 So today was the last day of school for most people and some of us are saying "Hallelujah", others are thinking "great, what am I going to do for the next 2 weeks". And some, only a very, tiny amount will say "Ohhhhh I love school holidays". But you and I both know, that these parents only love the not having to be somewhere by a certain time, they don't have to do lunches and they don't have to have school clothes washed and dried. If you get to a point where you want time out and you just can't find somewhere for your kiddies to go to, I am here to help.
