17.01.2022 Morning all - we are aware of the new and immediate gathering restrictions introduced this morning in QLD. If you have a booking within any of the affected areas - we will be in touch with you directly to either cancel and refund your booking or at your discretion, look at a rescheduled later date with priority booking where possible. Cheeky Chimps adheres to all govt regulations regarding Covid19 to ensure you, we and everyone in the community stays safe. Its a bit of a ...pain - but remember - this too will pass. For all our Gold Coast based bookings - we are proceeding as normal and calling for increased vigilence on hand washing / sanitising both before and after children have played on the equipment.

16.01.2022 Bookings and Restrictions. With the new govt gathering restrictions affecting other areas of Brisbane and surrounds the GOLD COAST IS CURRENTLY NOT AFFECTED. Gathering numbers are 30 in this area. If you were unable to get a booking slot in August or September and DO reside in the Gold Coast (or other unaffected) regions - please make a new enquiry as some slots have now freed up.... Stay safe everyone - and lets continue to celebrate!

15.01.2022 HEADS UP - GOLD COAST REGION ONLY. We have some softplay hire slots available on the weekends of 12/13th and 19th/20th of September. Due to gathering restricitons we have made these 2-3 day softplay hires for $250 only. Thats right the daily hire rate for an extended 2-3 day useage.... You can choose to spread your celebrations over different sittings / days to keep within gathering restrictions or just enjoy for longer yourself. We can only offer 2 packages for each weekend hire dates. (4 in total) We still deliver setup and packup as usual. THIS IS TRUELY A CASE OF FIRST IN - BEST PLAYED.

12.01.2022 Morning everyone.....just wanted to give you a quick update and a couple of examples of creative thinking our customers have shared with us in the last 48hours as these new restrictions take effect. Firstly - as we had focused our advertising on our LOCAL Gold Coast area that is predominantely where all our party bookings are scheduled from now to 12.12.2020. We have just 4 bookings that are outside this region - that may well need to be cancelled or rescheduled due to curr...ent restrictions. It is our intent to stay "close to home" and within the Gold coast area only during the next few weeks. This is in an effort to keep our movements down, ensuring I keep myself, my family, my driver and his family and of course you, your family and guests safe. That being said - here are 2 creative solutions our customers have used in the last 2 weeks. 1) One party hire decided to un-invite the "dads" to the party in order to keep their numbers within the then 30 requirement. I have a feeling this was probably a win-win for everyone.......hahaha 2) Another party hire who was already scheduled to have the equipment for an overnight hire (at no extra cost) has decided to make a weekend of their party - and hold 2 or 3 different sessions where their guests are coming. Think of it like a restaurant sitting .......some guests coming in the morning - nap time has been set aside and then other guests are coming in the later afternoon. They will still have no more than 10 attending their home at any given time. Mothers are inventors and creative thinkers purely by necessity - and this just shows that you can still enjoy your milestone 1st birthday celebrations - but maybe just a little bit differently from what you had at first planned. We adhere to all govt regulations and restrictions and we must ask you to ensure you do so also. Please have all children and adults wash or sanitise their hands both before and after their play.
