25.01.2022 Some people are just so creative! We LOVE the idea behind @pocketsquadgirls https://pocketsquadgirls.com.au/pages/about-us

24.01.2022 What typical Melbourne weather this week!

22.01.2022 We had a fantastic live webinar last night with Kid Link Occupational Therapy and Step by Step Psychology with lots of practical tips about school readiness. We absolutely loved getting this feedback after the event (especially given it is so hard with online events to see the audience) "I’d like to say "Thank you" to Jackie, Lauren and Cara for hosting a very (!!) informative and insightful webinar. I’m feeling a little more at ease about my son and his being ready for schoo...l next year. The information and tips each professional provided are invaluable. I made a tonne of notes and now feel better equipped to guide my son over the next few months, to support him on his journey to starting school. Thank you very much, ladies! Thank you for your time, expertise and most of all your heart. Your love of your jobs shone through. It has inspired me to step up my(mum) game.

21.01.2022 To all those Cheeky Monkeys starting back at school today, we hope you have a great day. And to all the Mums and Dads - congratulations, that was a tough term!

20.01.2022 We had a fun filled session of our Ready Set School group yesterday and we are looking forward to the next session this afternoon. Also don't forget about our LIVE webinar next Tuesday. With COVID-19, you may be worried your child has missed a lot of onsite learning at kinder this year. Perhaps you're worried they may not be ready for school in 2021? You’ll hear tips from an Occupational Therapist, Psychologist and a Speech Pathologist ensuring ALL the important areas of your... child’s development are covered. WHEN: Tuesday 6 October 2020 at 7:30 PM https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing?eid=656460&

20.01.2022 During our school readiness webinar last week, Cara from Step by Step Psychology talked about a Worry Box. This has been summed up nicely on the Remindables page so if you missed it, check out this link. https://www.remindables.com.au/blog/worrybox

17.01.2022 We've been busy behind the scenes over the past few weeks changing the reception area to make it more functional. Not quite finished yet but certainly well on the way!

14.01.2022 Our team are happy to be back working in the clinic instead of at home!! Despite the announcement of the latest easing of restrictions, Cheeky Monkey Speech will largely remain online via telehealth for the remainder of this year. We are fortunate to have amazing therapists who have worked tirelessly at providing such a fantastic service through this new form of delivery and I am so proud of them and our Cheeky Monkey families who have allowed them 'into your homes'. A newsletter will be sent out with more information to those on subscription list.

13.01.2022 The Cheeky Monkey team are counting down until they can put up the Christmas tree in the clinic (even if it's really only for the team) We are looking forward to a more settled 2021 . We have sent out preference forms for 2021 to all current Cheeky Monkeys so please check your junk mail or send us an email if you haven't received it yet.

12.01.2022 We process visual information better than any other type of information. Remindables are colourful and highly visual to help recall and memory. .... . . #remindables #visual #visuallearner #processing See more

12.01.2022 We love this idea and know many Cheeky Monkeys will use these to provide information to their teacher for next year. Thanks Remindables

10.01.2022 We loved seeing this around the streets on the weekend. People spreading cheer with homemade flowers and hearts, each one with a different positive saying. They encourage you to take one and they keep refilling their fence and hedge. Emme chose the one that says "The best way to cheer yourself up is to try and cheer somebody else up" (Mark Twain)

03.01.2022 We haven't been able to do our usual team dinners and lunches this year so last night we did a 'Bubbles and Brushes' painting session over zoom. It was fantastic fun!! Honestly we were all actually surprised at our finished products! They may even make it into the waiting room.
