22.01.2022 Trying to calculate 1.5 meters just with your eyes Our demo stage is going to be a little bit different this year. Our marquee will be completely open sided, seats will be set up at the correct distance for social distancing (and sorry, no tasting!) But most importantly - each demo will be streamed LIVE to the big screen! So you can watch it from wherever you are in the festival. You dont even have to sit down!... Who would you like to see give a cooking demo? (this can be ANYONE )

18.01.2022 Need a little comfort food tonight? Take some inspiration from @simonbryantchef and make Mac n Cheese. Just do it. 101% chance you will feel better afterward. Dont forget to add porcini mushrooms! ... Oh, and a Simon tip! To cook your macaroni , put it in heavily salted COLD water. And bring it to boil. If you put it straight in boiling water, it seizes the starches and the cheese doesnt soak in to the Mac as well as it could! Of course, enjoy with a bottle of local wine. Preferably something red and medium bodied, like a GSM Support local, eat well, be safe, and wash your hands. CFF TEAM

08.01.2022 Current events are a good reminder that our diets are actually very important to our health. We were so fortunate to have @sharon__flynn from @thefermentary at our demo stage last year, explaining the benefits of incorporating fermented foods into your diet. Were not saying fermented foods can cure anything or prevent the spread of a virus, but as @sharon__flynn says; try to prioritize eating living foods. That includes supporting local producers and growers, many of whom h...ave just begun to bounce back from the fires earlier this year. Also, it is scientifically proven that eating cheese makes you feel better We hope everyone is taking care, washing their hands, eating plenty of cheese, and catching up on that book you promised your friend you would read but you really just havent had any time.
