24.01.2022 Local Small Businesses are the cornerstone of our community, providing support to not just our not-for-profit but many through out the area. PLEASE support them every chance you get, we need them as much as they need us! #shoplocal

18.01.2022 CHELONA HATCHLINGS PLAYGROUP is this Friday . This week we have a theme.... come dressed in Halloween !!! With the weather heating up there will be some wet play so please ensure your child / children have a spare set of clothes. ... If the rain is still around we won’t have outside play but that’s ok, because we will still have activities to do. Below is the usual reminder of what to keep in mind when attending . We are aware that some of you will be dropping off older siblings at 8.30am. You are fine to enter the school at this time, but we ask that you remain under the front shed until 9am. Please keep in mind the following rules when entering the school grounds. At 9am when playgroup commences you will be asked to make your way to the bathroom to wash your hands and those of your little one. There will be some paperwork to fill out, one form being a Covid safety form and the other a playgroup membership form. It is a requirement of our safety plan that adults are to keep a 1.5m distance from each other. We have been limited to what the children are allowed to play with (without having to do a lot of cleaning and sanitising) BUT I have done my best to make sure everybody will be catered for. Please remember to bring your child’s water bottle, hat, sunscreen and morning tea. (Unfortunately we are not allowed to share food). Each week there will be some sort of painting activity. Please keep this in mind when you are dressing your child. I know I don’t even really need to point this out because we have such willing helpful parents but at 10.30 it will be appreciated if parents would help to pack up and help with the sanitising process. And last but most importantly, if you or your child is sick in any way (even with the mildest symptoms) please stay at home and we will look forward to seeing you at our next playgroup in a fortnight’s time. Can’t wait to see you 9am Friday morning Michelle

18.01.2022 Resilience is born from love! Be kind through this season of uncertainty!

15.01.2022 Long term projects require input from so many people to bring them to fruition, the enormous team behind our amazing wall & signage have enjoyed watching this next step unfold over the weekend. We finally secured a sign writer that could use the registered fonts we are obliged to use and now have an entrance to our school that’s as impressive as our little country school itself. Thank you to everyone that helped at every step of this process! #kidsfirst Boss Sign Solutions

15.01.2022 World Teachers Day Thank you for all the time, effort and love you bestow on our children day in and day out! Your job isn’t easy, it’s often thankless but today we take the time to acknowledge the difference you truly make to the world! Our teachers truly embody our school motto #KIDSFISRT #spoilingthem thanks Coffeelicious2U

15.01.2022 Today would of been our 2nd annual Cocktails in the Country event. We are very sad it wasn't able to be held this year. But are reminiscing on how incredible last years event was and the wonderful businesses and community around us that made it all possible.

14.01.2022 A massive shout out to our AMAZING teachers that have foregone so much time with their own families, forging ahead in unchartered territory, to bring a learning program to our children. Your efforts do not go unnoticed thank you for always putting #kidsfirst and I’m sure these little reminders will help us all as we transition on Monday!

13.01.2022 They say good things come to those who wait, but good things come to those who have amazing support. Aprile Industries kindly donated their equipment & expertise so we now finally have a dry pathway from our front car park to our pick up/drop off zone. Without Aprile Industries who knows how much longer we’d have needed to wait! We will be forever grateful for the bridge over ‘River Chelona’. Aprile Industries specialise in: Heavy Deisel Repairs... 24 hour emergency breakdown Component rebuilds Fault diagnoses Minor electrical repairs Preventive maintenance Wet or dry hire of bobcat & tipper Contact details for Brent Aprile are in the comment section. Thank you again for your fabulous support
