23.01.2022 Come down and help make sure we have the cleanest beach in greater Melbourne #lovewhereyoulive
22.01.2022 Well we couldn’t be prouder of these little champions bringing home their third consecutive gold medal in the Life Saving Victoria Junior State Championships traditional March Past, a spectacular and very moving way to start day two of competition. Well done to all competitors that made the trip to Lorne. Thank you to our wonderful competition managers, coaches, age managers, officials, water safety, parent helpers and of course to the patrollers that held the fort back in Chelsea.
16.01.2022 Thanks to Marshere Dance Studios and Jackie Unwin for coming on board this year and sponsoring our great club. Your support is appreciated and will help keep our beach safe this summer.

11.01.2022 Heartfelt thanks to our sponsors, who without your help we couldn’t keep our club running to protect people enjoying the best beach in Australia, maybe the world!
10.01.2022 A timely reminder to make sure you know the rules before getting on a jetski. Water Police have been out issuing fines of up to $800.
08.01.2022 Be on the look out for these red jelly fish at Chelsea beach and avoid contact. They can deliver a painful sting but are harmless unless you have allergies. The best treatment is an ice pack. If you have any other symptoms seek medical attention. More info here https://australianmuseum.net.au//jel/lions-mane-jellyfish/
07.01.2022 $200 fines apply for drinking alcohol in the shaded areas of Chelsea
06.01.2022 Well we all knew they are pretty special but mighty chuffed all the same to have our dolphins recognised for their achievements. Well done to coach Rachelle Clarke and her little pod of Chelsea Longbeach dolphins.
02.01.2022 Nippers is back, and what a great turnout despite Melbourne turning on the worst of its Spring weather for us. Tomorrow’s weather looks much more inviting. We might even make it into the water. See you on the sand.Nippers is back, and what a great turnout despite Melbourne turning on the worst of its Spring weather for us. 02.01.2022 Ever wondered what these little guys are? Not dolphin poo or mouthguards or jellyfish even.
