21.01.2022 The great conjunction Christmas star For those who may have missed it back home with the storms..... my view last night from Perth. The kids HAD to have desert and take forever to eat it so they were just starting to pass when we got to it. This is just a phone capture as we are currently on the road so I didn’t bring my laptop to get it off the camera (and not travelling with my zoom for close ups)

18.01.2022 With all the stress and chaos around the world at the moment, we need to make sure we bring a little silliness into the world wherever we can... cue Melanie & Brendan's Wedding Party on 3... 2 ... 1! I know right now is a stressful time for everyone, and if you're getting married, some added stress that I'm sure no bride & groom to be needs right now. Be sure to keep the communication lines open and don't be afraid to ask for help. The wedding, arts & services industry knows ...its in for a hit, but we also know it's going to be a hit on you too so lets stick together and get through this by supporting each other even more now than ever! I will be offering elopement only wedding packages going forth, whether you decide to postpone to a later date and elope (but your photographer is unavailable), or are just planning and make the decision to do so in the future. This service will be offered over at Wild Orchid Studios as a part of our more intimate portraiture sessions. Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions! 17.01.2022 Wow Clair & Felix... what can I say?! A leap year wedding filled with laughter and adventure at the gorgeous hidden gem The Willowie in Inverloch. From the epic dance moves, mini golf and games, to the challenge photo board (best idea ever!), who you both are shined through in everything the day and night had to offer. Your smiles and laughter were contagious, and it was beautiful to witness you both shine so brightly yesterday as you made your commitment to each other offici...al with the amazing people you surround yourselves with! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be there and witness such joy, and allow me to go out with a bang as I take another path in the world of photography and creativity. For those of you who asked what I will be doing next, not only will I be offering my services to assist other wedding photographers, but my creative photographic adventure continues over at Wild Orchid Studios intimate portraiture, (feel free to check it out and follow ) I want to wish a big congratulations to you both, on the next stage of your epic journey together! Adventure awaits!

17.01.2022 Great gift idea for Father’s Day!

16.01.2022 The word seems to be that we can operate under stage 3 but anyone over the age of 12 must wear a mask as no exemption has been made (although everyone is doing what they can to change this), in light of this and not knowing when a mask exemption will be made we are taking expressions of interests for kids sessions under 12 for the interim. Under current restrictions we will not be able to hold any in studio at this time, but can offer outdoor sessions. Social distancing guidelines will apply. PM for more info and availability

10.01.2022 I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas this year. I know many may have been away from family this year, known as the year that will not be named . Myself and the boys have had a different Christmas this year, returning to my family home in Perth after 9 years, but left my husband behind for Christmas, it’s been different but we’ve loved being home and getting a chance to bond with family. It’s been a different year for sure, and not how anyone would have planned to spend ...it, but there has also been a lot of things that have come from it too! It couldn't have been a more special day for two of the most beautiful people yesterday! With friends and family helping keep Melanie connected with her family over the seas, everyone was ready and eager to support and celebrate the beautiful love these two share. A love to last a lifetime.... With plenty of laughs, and some tears, it was definitely a celebration to remember. 06.01.2022 I am back from holidays! After all direct flights from Perth being cancelled it was an adventure to get home that took us a little longer with very little sleep in the process, so please bare with me as we recover and catch back up! Photo taken at Aqwa Perth

05.01.2022 Wow! It’s been 2 years since we moved into our new studio space, I can’t believe how fast that has gone! And whilst it should be filled with beautiful transformations of empowerment, from the glowing magic of pregnancy to empowering women and intimate portraiture, it has remained quiet since March and empty as the world constantly changes around us. Whilst we are hopeful our time will come, we need your help to keep floating a little longer until we can join you again soon a...s the weather changes and restrictions lift in the near future. So, we are offering pre purchase credits for those who are in a position to do so. These can be redeemed across any of our business services at any time in the future when we are allowed to shoot again. If you aren’t in a position to purchase credits, a simple share or comment below is just as valuable and appreciated. So what can your credit be used for? Maternity sessions, couples sessions, elopements & small weddings, women’s empowerment sessions, boudoir sessions, couples intimate portraiture & our art services (portraits, original art purchases, murals & repurposing/transformational art) **current booking retainers & payments are kept in safe keeping until booked sessions have been completed and are therefore not applicable to the credits system. 04.01.2022 **We are back!! And we are officially taking bookings for 2021! What a wild ride this year has been so far! We decided to take a break from weddings to reevaluate, then the world was made to take a break with us. We were forced to adapt when maybe lots of people weren't ready or able to, and we had to make a choice on where we stood in this world. This year has created a lot of division amongst people, whilst bringing many together in other ways. It's revealed a lot more tha...n I think anyone ever anticipated or was ready for. In this time of reflection, I've been able to focus more on where I want to go next, which is why we are looking to return for 2021! However, there will be changes. I will be splitting my time between here, Wild Orchid Studios (link in comments) & Art by Chelsea Anne (if this pandemic has taught us anything, its to not put all our eggs in one basket, I'm taking that next level ). What that means for here is that we will only be taking on weddings & Elopements of 2 - 3 hours (larger weddings please go see our beautiful Emma Salmon Imagery - I'll be her second ), and our availability will be limited so booking early will be essential to secure a date. I will also be available for Maternity & Couples sessions, Yay!! Babies, Kids & Families go see Ems All glamour & intimate portraiture (including couples) head to our Wild Orchid Studios, and last but not least if you need an art fix.. from canvas art, to reimagining old items around the home, pet & people portraits & even murals, head on over to Art by Chelsea Anne.
