13.01.2022 *REMINDER* GET IN QUICK! WE NEED REGISTRATIONS ASAP! OVER 130 PLAYERS ALREADY REGISTERED. WE ARE BACK! Calling ALL U7 to U16 2020 Chelsea FC players this is FOR YOU! ... We want you to see you out socialising with friends and enjoying yourselves again. In an effort to get back into club sport and to celebrate the season we didn’t have, Chelsea FC will be running a set of home based tournament games called CHELSEA FC SPRING FLING SOCCER TOURNAMENT. Cost? FREE! (For 2020 Registered Chelsea Players) Where? at home grounds- Velodrome oval main pitch When? on 3 consecutive Saturdays Time? from 3PM to Dusk- see details below Team? players will be entered into pre-mixed teams of mixed gender but also of mixed ability How many games? each player will play multiple games on each day of the event We would love to see EVERY player from U7 to U16 participating in these small sided games. So, what do you need to do? Click below link to register and tell us if you want to play- including player name/s- and rock up for the games wearing boots, shin pads and appropriate soccer clothing. 09.01.2022 Thanks to James for choosing our venue for celebrating his birthday, pre Christmas and post COVID catch up with his friends. Lots of compliments about how good our venue is to have an event.

09.01.2022 Great picture of some of the original Chelsea FC members that played at the same ground way back in the early 1960s. The pitch was at the southern end of Edithvale Rec Reserve (opposite the current baseball field) and their change room is where the public toilets are now located! Good to see that they are still fit and well.... and still keep in touch after nearly 60 years. Sport does create life long friendships!

01.01.2022 It is with great sadness that we hear the news of Maradona's passing. A true genius, who put our great game on the map. People who didn't follow our soccer, knew who Maradona was.... such was his impact, such was his talent, such was his talent. He will be truly missed. RIP.
