11.01.2022 I know first hand the danger of an untrained pet. When I was little I got mauled by a German shepherd. No fault of anyone. It was just one of those moments that chose me. As an adult I realised that there was a gift in this event and without my childhood experience, I wouldn't be as active as I am today with training, learning, and doing my best as a puppy owner.... As you probably know.. I do love a fear inspired movement so last year I set out to use my fear to help me understand this beautiful breed of animal even more. Today... I am a PROUD owner of a German Shepherd. I am conscious of how important it is to train her and how well she responds to leadership. I am actively aware around the kids, although we are still all finding out feet with it all. I respect people who have fears around dogs. I get it. I can easily fall in love with people who love dogs . Soft hearts melt me. . . . It is Consistency It is Persistence It is Repetition It is Patience It is Understanding a new language It is getting to know them It is loving unconditionally It is Learning It is Growing It is Expanding An event that caused me pain in my childhood has come around and blessed me by showing another version of love and leadership within myself that I never knew existed Always aim to see the gift.
