04.01.2022 As I'm sure rabbit owners are aware, a new strain of the deadly Calicivirus is being released in attempts to reduce the amount of wild rabbits. This new Korean strain is airborne and stronger than previous strains, causing haemorrhaging with no "cure" available, only supportive therapy. Due to the release, the manufacturers of the rabbit vaccine "Cylap" have run out of stock with more expected mid-late March. We still have supply of the vaccine so if you have a bunny that is not up to date with vaccinations please give the clinic a call on 9772 5386 to ensure your little one is protected!
