21.01.2022 With Easter holidays coming soon, this morning was all about fitting a bike rack on to a caravan without losing the existing tool box. I removed the existing central bracket and made up a heavy duty frame to support both the existing tool box and the added bike rack which I then welded on. As the caravan was being dropped off this morning the older style jockey wheel was misbehaving so a decision was made to replace it with a nice heavy duty swivel type whilst it was here for bike rack mounting.

04.01.2022 Today's job: a builder has a large trailer for transporting sheets of plaster and large quantities of timber. The problem is both at the suppliers (can't use a forklift to load), and at the job site (too heavy to manually unload.) For the first problem, I fitted drop in cross beams so that a forklift can load directly, and for the unloading I have made up a base plate and support leg, and fitted a 900kg rated crane.
