07.01.2022 GolfWA COVID-19 Virus Advice UPDATE MARCH 25 March 25, 2020 In light of last night’s announcements by the Prime Minister in order to seek clarity, Golf Australia has been advised by the Office of the Federal Minister for Sport that golf can continue to be played in line with all social distancing and other restrictions advised to date. ... Obviously social distancing is key, we would encourage clubs to look at measures to increase the gaps between time slots; advise members to arrive at the tee 5 minutes before their tee time; no practice range etc the clear messaging is to arrive, play and leave immediately after golf.

05.01.2022 Just an update for everyone who follows this page. Its been roughly 6 weeks since we started our fairway renovation program and the results have been AMAZING. We still have a lot of work to do but im hoping this time next year you will see this course at its absolute best.

02.01.2022 Latest announcement from GolfWA _______ GolfWA wishes to advise the following.... The playing of golf can continue provided the social distancing measures are in place. All licensed clubhouses should be immediately closed, with no food or beverage service taking place. Take away style food and non-alcoholic beverage can be sold out of the proshop, halfway hut or catering cart. Clubs should not provide any seated areas. It is important that golf clubs and facilities adhere to these restrictions to ensure golf can continue to be played and is not seen as flouting the restrictions in place for other businesses. In accordance with Federal Government advice around social distancing, it is mandatory that golf cart use is limited to one person per cart. ____ Also in an effort to reduce the spread we have asked all golfers to please refrain from touching the flag. If you must do so with a glove or towel. A pool noodle has been installed at the base of each hole making it easier to remove your ball. If the ball does go into the hole and bounces out for whatever reason the ball is still deemed holed. Bunker rakes have been removed and all bunkers are out of play. Nearest point of relief is to be taken no closer to the hole. We apologize for any inconvenience but everyone's health and wellbeing is our number one priority.
