22.01.2022 Quite chuffed to say my photograph SWIFT received first place in the Drone Photography Category at the Ekka Digital Photography competition. I also received a Commended for GLORIOUS and SUNSET OVER DUMBLETON WEIR. Over and above that I was delighted to have my photograph chosen to be published in the courier email the day before the judging occurred. Thus they couldn't name me as a photographer and I had no idea when I agreed it would actually get a place let alone win the category, the journalist choose it to publish. First time I purchased a newspaper in years :-) :-) :-)

With my very good lighting and instruction assistants David and Leigh I managed to get this shot. 10.01.2022 What began as a Milkyway outing (which was cancelled due to what we thought would be clouded out) turned into a Vintage Car Photoshoot at Royce's beautiful home. Thanks to all the members from Creative Shots Photo Club who attended. It was a fab fun night out. Many thanks for Royce to all the trouble he went to and for providing home cooked pizza for dinner.
