24.01.2022 Thanks to all who came to visit us on the weekend - despite Sunday's searing heat - we hope you had as much fun as we did! For those that couldn't make it, we've got plenty more red jewels in store for you this weekend. We'll be open both days Saturday Dec 14th & Sunday Dec 15th. So pack a picnic, tell your friends & create some great memories up here at Stella Creek

23.01.2022 Hi all Well wasn't that an unseasonal week of weather. A few of the blossoms got battered by the hail, but the majority are ok & it's very pretty around here still. So if you were planning on coming this weekend - be sure to pack a rubber backed picnic rug, warm clothes, a camera, some shoes suitable for wet ground, & a picnic of course! There will be hot food available for those not bringing your own.... Entry fee is $5 & children under 12 are free. Opening hours are from 10am till dark. We do have bee hives in the orchards. So if you are allergic, please take note. The rain should be almost finished now, so here's hoping for a little sun & great weekend ahead! Look forward to seeing you all soon See more

20.01.2022 Due to the Bushfire Emergency in the Adelaide Hills Stella Creek we will be closed tomorrow Sat Dec 21st. We have nursed our cherries through this week's heatwave & they are ready to be picked but until the fire is under control we cannot risk opening to the public. In consultation with the CFS will make a decision about opening Sunday tomorrow evening & post an update. Tonight our thoughts are with all those in the Lobethal/Lenswood/Woodside area who have experienced loss of property & businesses

20.01.2022 OPEN THIS WEEKEND SATURDAY DEC 7 & SUNDAY DEC 8, from 9am to 5pm, although we recommend arriving at 4pm to allow time for picking. Available varieties: Vista, Moss Early, Chelan, possibly Vans & Summits. All $14/kg. Entrance fee $8 for adults & $2 for children under 12. Cold drinks & ice cream. Beautiful scenic picnic area. EFTPOS available. ... No hot food this weekend sorry. As the weather is expected to be warm on Sunday, we recommend you bring an Esky with cool packs to transport your cherries home in. Many apologies for the delay & keeping you waiting - Mother Nature has been playing tricks on us this year & fruit ripening has been very unpredictable. Luckily the wait is almost over & we will be open this Saturday December 28th from 9am till 5pm, unless sold out earlier. Available varieties: Dame Roma, Vics, Black Douglas, Morello (Sour Cherries) & possibly Stella’s. All $12 per kg. Entry fee $8 for adults & $2 for children. Ice cream, cold drinks & EFTPOS available. Please note this will be our last weekend for picking, so be sure to make the trip up if you haven't yet already this season

10.01.2022 Hello Friends of Stella Creek Following on from the success of our first Cherry Blossom Festival last Spring, many of you asked if we host any other events throughout the year. So in response, Stella Creek will be hosting an Autumn Leaves Festival over a weekend in April. The changing Autumn colours in the Orchards are delightful, and for the first time we will be opening the property's private gardens for our visitors to enjoy. ... At the Festival there will be Live Music in the gardens, a Fruit Tree Pruning Masterclass, Kids Craft Workshops, Market Stalls, Gourmet Food trucks, Pop up Coffee Van, assorted Local Produce and more. The highlight of the event will be the illumination of many of our feature trees at dusk. Closer to the date, we will create a Facebook event for you with all the details. We have more exciting developments for Stella Creek that we will announce shortly See more

Such a great job in fact, that sadly we are unable to open tomorrow & Tuesday for picking as planned as there is no ripe fruit available. We are terribly sorry to those who were planning on coming up over the next 2 days. We hope that you can postpone your visit until Boxing Day Thursday Dec 26th when our next cherries will be ready. The buds are starting to awaken from their winter slumber & that means Stella Creek will be hosting its 2020 Cherry Blossom Festival next weekend!! Everybody had such a great time last year at our first event & it would be a pleasure to do it all again....
