19.01.2022 Dear Customers and members of the community, We have been made aware on Sunday 9th August that one of our junior staff members who attends Tangara School for Girls has unfortunately come back with a positive result for Covid 19. We ask anyone who has attended the store on Thursday 6th of August between the hours of 4-7:30pm to monitor for symptoms and to get tested if symptoms do appear.... At Cherrybrook Pharmacy, our staff and customer's wellbeing is of the highest concern to us. We have taken precautionary measures to ensure all our staff wear face masks, social distance while talking to customers in the aisle, sanitise frequently, wipe down all hard surfaces every hour and counsel all our customers behind perspex protective barriers. Due to abiding by these precautionary measures, our 2 staff members that had direct contact with the junior staff member, have been very fortunate to come back with a negative covid-19 test result. They will however, remain in isolation for 14 days to ensure their family and community members stay safe and well. The pharmacy is closed today (Monday 10th August) and will be reopening tomorrow Tuesday 11th August. We confirmed that all the correct protocols were followed and our store has been thoroughly cleaned by Infoclean, a coronavirus cleaning specialist. We are working closely with the department of health and will keep all members of the community updated if anything else changes. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and hope to be able to overcome this together. Please stay safe and take precautionary measures where possible.
