21.01.2022 Cherrybrook Station Precinct Plans in Political Black Hole The State Government refuses to release updated plans for the Cherrybrook Planned Precinct. The majority of existing residents don't want the State Government rezoning beyond the 3.5ha they own adjoining the Metro Station. The Cherrybrook Residents Association will continue to demand the State Government reveal their plans before the NSW state election.

20.01.2022 Cherrybrook Residents Association is celebrating it’s 5-year anniversary. It is an honour and privilege to serve with the Association and very glad to have done so with such a dedicated and driven Executive Team with a deep commitment to the Association.

01.01.2022 Save our Hillsbus! A big thank you goes to the organisers of the Save Our Hillsbus community forum held at the Redgum Hall Cherrybrook Community Centre on Sunday, 4th August afternoon. It was attended by an estimated 300 plus residents, all adversely affected by the sudden, significant, unjustified cancellation/re-scheduling of bus services across WP hills valley, Cherrybrook and the wider Hills districts It was highly significant that at short notice, so many families h...ad given up their Sunday leisure, to turn out to the meeting and vehemently share details of their adverse transport experiences, frustration and anger. It was clearly demonstrated that the bus-service manipulations had created considerable practical difficulties for countless commuters, including shift-workers, working parents of young children and the disabled. Although invitations to attend this significant forum had been extended to them, disappointingly, no Liberal NSW Govt representatives were present. The people have spoken and the message is clear: Hillsbus services must be returned so residents can get to work on time, get home sooner, and more time for the things that really matter - preferably via the Metro, but also by bus, where that access is effectively denied them. The event received a wide media coverage on the Sunday evening news which just might help the people of Northwest Sydney get this unjustified decision reversed. Finally, the investment much of some $8,000 million on the Metro trains will a waste of money if the stations can not be reasonably accessed by those it was intended to serve The Executive Committee Cherrybrook Residents Association.
