21.01.2022 FACT: Lots of rain means lots of fuel for bush and grass fires. It only takes a few days of hot, dry and windy weather to cure grass and make it flammable. Make a bush fire survival plan so you know what you will do if there’s a bush or grass fire near you. Visit www.myfireplan.com.au #nswrfs #CherrybrookRFS

18.01.2022 In times of need it is important to know where you can find alternate sources of information. The NSW Rural Fire Service has created a list to help you when needed.

18.01.2022 A huge thank you to the community for supporting the Cherrybrook Rural Fire Brigade Santa Run fundraiser. As you may know, each year the Cherrybrook Rural Fire Brigade holds a Santa Run around Cherrybrook on Christmas eve to spread the Christmas spirit whilst raising funds for The Children's Hospital at Westmead. Unfortunately, due to updated COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions at the time, we were forced to cancel the event in 2020. However, we decided to press ahead with c...ontinuing to raise funds for the hospital via the Bandaged Bear website. Your generosity has helped us to raise a total of $1,646, which will benefit seriously ill and injured children who rely on The Children's Hospital at Westmead for vital care and treatment. Thanks again for your support! #NSWRFS #CherrybrookRFS #ChildrensHospital Cherrybrook Community Sydney Community Group
