19.01.2022 Throwback Thursday! Methodist Ladies' College's commitment to sustainability propelled them to invest in solar PV panels to reduce carbon emissions while lowering electricity costs. There were several design aspects to consider in planning and installing the system. In an effort to corroborate efficiency and design, MLC sought to keep the panels out of sight from the main road and preserve their classic façade. 11.01.2022 Federal Labor leader Anthony Albanese used his budget reply speech on 8th October 2020 to announce a $20 billion plan to provide low-cost finance to transmission companies to build out the transmission network in line with the Integrated System Plan. A 21st-century economy needs a modern electricity network that supports reliability, security and lower emissions technologies, and delivers low-cost energy to consumers.

07.01.2022 NSW sets $32 billion bold plan for Clean Energy Transition. In doing so, the Berejiklian Government will unlock $32 billion of new investment in regional NSW and support an estimated 6300 construction jobs and 2800 ongoing jobs. We are excited for this pivot toward sustainability driven by State Governments and hope to see support from the Federal Government as well.

That's equivalent to removing an estimated 128,423 passenger vehicles off the road in one year! If we all had Electric Vehicles, we would be saving approximately half the emissions from fossil fuel-based vehicles.
