Forget the adult issues which lead to your separation (unless of course they pose serious risk to your children). Kids have a right to a meaningful relationship with both parents and in most cases they will benefit from this.... Of course there are exceptions which should be treated seriously, but in the absence of same, the Court will protect the children’s relationships with both parents as much as possible. Talk to us about a parenting plan or consent order to firm up your parenting arrangements, or to discuss any safety concerns you may have in applying this general rule of thumb See more

Sharing the details of your family law dispute, your thoughts on your ex partner or your judicial officer are not amongst them. It is becoming very common to see screen shots of Facebook/instagram posts presented as evidence in Court.... It is usually cringeworthy and you will regret it. It will almost never assist your cause and it will never really be deleted, despite your best endeavors to do so at a later time. In the words of Ron Burgundy, stay classy!
