04.01.2022 Farmer John has taken a cycle trip to Derby. Started with a 9:30am bus ride Lilydale to Scottsdale. By 1 pm I had taken in the #northeastrailtrail and ahead of me, after a short road section was a new and much anticipated #valleyponds which winds it's merry way into Derby. Just under 3 1/2 hours of pleasant off road trail riding to Derby a MTB Mecca. There are shuttles with experience and local knowledge..too many choices. I chose to camp a couple of nights and take the bus back to Lovely Lilydale and Cherry Top Farmstay - Boutique Eco Village. #northeastrecreationtrail #railtrailsaustralia #carfreeholidays
