19.01.2022 Painting Danu was an enjoyable journey and process as the scene in the painting was purely imaginative. Working without any reference photo’s is so inspiring as it allows free creative licence to create your own imaginative fantasy scape so to speak. @https://CherylJeanette.wordpress.com " Danu " 60 X 50 X 3.5 Acrylic on Canvas.... 10.01.2022 " Another World " Sontaneous Acrylic Poured Painting on Canvas. 95 X 65cm. Cheryl Jeanette 2006 A while back, A Friend and i attended a one day abstract tulip painting workshop. As we quietly chatted too much, we fell behind in class and didn't get to complete our painting's so when I returned home, the pouring began over the top and then left to dry for 3 days as the canvas was soaked and sagging from the amount of liquid floating on top. ... When the canvas was dry, I noticed 2 very abstracted looking figures and was totally intrigued by this. Checked pics on mobile which I had taken at the workshop but could not see these figures, but once I turned the picture on the mobile " upside down " and zoomed in, there they were inside one of the flowers very faintly barely obvious. . it was so exciting and surprising to see these figures appear and become accentuated from lots of poured colours over the top and how serendipity evolves. If you would like to see the pics from my mobile at workshop, the abstracted tulip stage and also a close up zoom of the faint figure in one of the flowers at workshop, to finished pouring below, here is the link to my blog site. https://cheryljeanette.wordpress.com/blog See more

10.01.2022 Spontaneous Poured Painting CLEMENTIA'S TREE. One of those vary RARE joyful moments that really don't happen for me to often in pouring paint spontaneously. It took a while for me to notice her standing beside a very abstract looking tree trunk. Those happy moments, make 9 out of 10 failed canvases and many litres of paint, so worth it. Hope you too can see her.
